Excellent, brilliant!!! I loved that!!! Congrats to Helen's Dad for being so awesome and clever and thank you to Handiquilter for making those feet. You'd think I have a Sweet Sixteen the way I get so excited but I don't, but I haven't given up yet on hoping! Vicky's face was priceless when she found a new idea for her Watermelon quilt, yay. Wonderful video thank you so much for sharing!!!

If you feed the couched yarn from the center of the ball, it feeds more evenly and won’t snag. (Tip from days of using knitting machines ..,!)

There is a single line of stitching that runs down the center of the yarn. While it might hold fast during a gentle washing, my recommendation would be to try it first and decide for yourself if you want to use it on a piece that will be washed often.

Nice video!!!! I just got two or those sets, and they are awesome!!!! By the way, when you want to show something, you need to put them against something that contrast the color of the item you want to show, in this case a black or any similar background, just an idea.

I love to watch all your tips Helen. You are inspiring. I understand it will take years to become as good as you with all of your artisan quilts, they are beautiful! I am trying to choose a sit down machine. Is there a true benefit to having stitch control in the table as "in-sight"? I cannot decide if that would be as dependable as stitch control built into the machine? Thanks for your time!

Helen is using the Handi Quilter couching foot which the fiber feeds through to couch. There is probably a way to couch on your sewing machine, check your user manual.
