Discovered this song on Spotify while playing RDR2 on my PS4 last night at 11pm and must've had it on repeat for the entire hour. Found out it was from a movie and found it on a website. Finished watching it at 2AM. Although I didn't physically cry, I think my soul did.

My boyfriend begged me to take him to see this movie. He was practically obsessed with it for an entire month until took him last weekend. I just couldn't say no to him because his excitement was super cute. Anyway Im glad I saw it because now I'm equally obsessed with the soundtrack lol. Someone in the comments said that that they didn't cry but their soul did. Honestly it's the most accurate way to describe it. Even my boyfriend tried to tease about me crying. The smug bastard lol. I didn't cry but it was so beautiful, that I was very close to crying.

You two held up better than me lol. I cried the moment Lend Me Your Voice started playing, cried at Million Miles Away, and when Suzu defended Kei. It really spoke to me. A classic fairytale about prejudice and finding inner beauty being recreated into the internet age is an amazing feat and one that's great for society. It just upsets me how this film came out too late to get an Oscar nomination.

@@cherry-lv3yp the scene with Peggy was a very powerful statement. Too often we dismiss and belittle people online for petty reasons like envy or similar sentiments. But if we actually saw or met the people we drag online, we would more likely than not see a lot in common with those people and we'd share much more empathy with them. That's why its so moving when we hear Peggy say "That's Belle? She's just an ordinary girl like me."

I love this song. But something interesting about “Belle” is that you can tell Hosoda was also thinking about his “Summer Wars” film when he was making this as much as he was thinking of “Beauty and the Beast”. Because Belle is now the second movie he has made involving the Virtual Reality trope.

It seems that this song and “A Million Miles Away” were both songs written by Suzu sometime after the passing of her mother. The latter is more apparent when you see the scene on the bridge where she tried to sing, the lyrics are the first few lines of that song.

@@PeachWookiee try some chamomile tea and melatonin when you’re about to get to bed. Sleep trouble and dehydration during these drier and cooler days can sometimes worsen that kind of stuff.

The movie is fantastic, but that trailer was even better with its editing, in my opinion. I would have skipped the ad if I hadn’t heard her voice right from the start. But Kylie McNeill’s voice caught my attention immediately, so I kept listening and watching even though I was not the least bit interested in anime at the time. That trailer touched something deep inside my heart, and I could feel all the waves of emotion from the character Suzu / Belle in less than two minutes. By the end, I knew I had to buy the soundtrack when it was released and see the film. I have never regretted it for the moment, even though there were a few plot holes that I think should have been better filled, overall it was an awe-inspiring masterpiece of a show.

Man not only my soul I cried , I did that ugly cry man. It was a movie that healed me. I’ve lost a lot of family, including half of my family that left me hollow and numb. Resulting me to hold in a lot of emotions in and I was emotionless. I’m hella blessed by this movie man. And now I can keep these song on repeat.

Remind me a story of Beauty and the Beast🌹 expect this is a anime version done by Japanese writers and directors which inspire by the fairy tales of Beauty and the Beast🌹.Although there a few things that I'm disappointed about this movie because when I first watched the trailer and waiting for months on the story I would have though that Belle/Suzu becoming popular in U with her singing that the Dragon would appear at her concrt to kidnapped her to have to himself, I also though that the identity of the Dragon would be Suzu's father since they're distant after her mother passed away or Suszu's childhood friend Shinobu who always watched over her. If I was the writer of this movie I would have made the story very interesting.
