    Did we really need non polar solution to reduce mobile phase polarity? I think two solvent with different polarity works tho.. example, water blend with methanol.. or water blend with acetonitrile.. cmiiw

    previously RED one didnt like mobile phase as it was totally polar..but then they made mobile phase 10 prcnt nonpolar so red one started liking it so it elutes faster than before which improves run time than before..
