HPI Venture - Upgrade Series - CVDs, Brass Knuckles, C-Hub, Servo

The HPI Venture does pretty well in stock form aside from the RTR servo, but I decided to do a few upgrades to increase its potential. The steering servo was swapped out for a DS3218 20kg. Added HPI CVDs, as well as SSD RC Aluminum C-Hubs and Brass Knuckles. I also swapped out the RTR (Hobbywing 1060 rebrand) esc for a Hobbywing 1080.

The stock HW1060 esc is pretty decent, but the HW1080 gives you a better internal BEC and more adjust-ability for drag brake, punch, etc.

Absolutely they can! The sbk already comes with the cvd shafts.

Question how did u get a servo horn on as the stock servo saver horn is OK but want my own horn on but when i fit it when I turn one way just hits frame so can fully turn

I'll have to check, but I think I remember using washers/spacers on the servo screws to move the servo up/down to achieve the clearance.
