HPI Savage Flux 3D construction animation

These is a 3D animation of the build of an HPI Savage Flux.
It need to be tweaked a little bit.
These is the first version. I will try to do a better one (need to adjust the lighting and make a better rendering).
I will try to make a new version with the references of every piece.
Anyway, these is just to show you a new thing ;-)

    Hi, great job! Is it possible to get the 3D files for the parts? It’s almost impossible to get certain parts here in Norway. I think maybe I can revive my truck by printing them in Nylon or carbon reinforced abs.

    Hi and thank you :) Modeling has been done with Autodesk AutoCAD. Then transfered into 3D modeling software Autodesk Maya for the animation and rendering. Fusion 360, I have discovered it later so perhaps I could have done everything with it.

    Great work on the 3D animation :) I custom build HPI Savage Flux's with custom TVP's. Did you create the 3D file's of the Savage for the animation or can you download them from some where?

  • @shromilder

    @shromilder

    Hi, I've created all the 3D pieces with AutoCAD then imported them in Maya. And then created the animation. All is done by myself. There's almost nowhere to find 3D files of the Savage.

    Is it the «rc cars viewer»? I thought it would be something like Solidworks or SIEMENS NX... Also, did you rendered it in Maya?

  • @shromilder

    @shromilder

    8 жыл бұрын

    +PHILIP KATSIMALIS I used AutoCAD for the CAO part (DWG file). Then I transferred all pieces in Maya in order to make the animation and the rendering. RC Cars Viewer is a software I created in order to construct cars with pieces i've made in AutoCAD. But it has not been used for these video.

    are the dimensions of the cad accurate? If yes it would be nice to have the step file for this mate. I know that it is a lot but a lot of work designing it accurate. Respect of your time.

  • @shromilder

    @shromilder

    9 жыл бұрын

    Hi Yes, everything is accurate. Measured with a tool, each pieces, and reproduced after with a CAO software. The file, perhaps I will share it one day :-) It would be .dwg file (AutoCAD) And after, I imported all pieces in Maya for the animation. So I have a big maya file too :) (with also differents tires and wheels) BTW, you can play with all the pieces by using my software RCCarsViewer (see the video description)

Dude I will pay you to show me how to do that kind of video, tell me what I need to get please, I'm subbing you, I bet I jack up the view count

  • @shromilder

    The point was first to model the Savage in order to use it in my software RCCarsViewer ( rccarsviewer.free.fr ). The other point was to help people if they had problem with their Savage. And the final point was for me to make some CAO et 3D design because I like that!
