Awesome bud it’s definitely a good time. You can look on a main hobbies they have a lot of stuff for drag racing. Drag race concepts makes a carbon fiber shock tower that’s wider then the stock ones. There’s a club called Long Island street eliminatorz on Facebook they race in Medford.

I think it would’ve , it’s definitely stronger then plastic. It’s a bit more expensive but I would definitely look into that for more durability.

Where can I purchase front wheels and tires like the ones on your drag car

I'm looking at building a drag Baja myself. Is it even worth buying the stock HPI Baja? Or can I just build one with all aftermarket parts?

I've been wondering how the bajas were converted to street. I need to look into this. Also those 3d printed wheels !!

That's not really what built not bought means. Buying a bunch of things and bolting them together is pretty much bought. Now if you were fabricating parts that would be a different story.

@@fredsuarez9742 your comment makes no sense and isn't related to what I said. Built not bought comes from the full-size car customization scene. It is a statement made to make fun of people who just buy all of their pieces and then slap together something and say that they built it. No of course I don't fabricate all of my RC car pieces (though I have custom-made several things and even designed and sold a couple of parts). But then again I also don't misuse term built not bought. And also not that it's related but even though I run mostly brushless now I started 20 years ago running only nitro and I've run nitro, gas, brushed and brushless depending on the application.
