Have you upgraded the CPU in an HP 6550b (or close) from a Duo core to a Quad? It can be done but am wondering if the heat sink & fan can remove a bit more heat. Thank you 🤓

Sorry I didn't tried it, quads are very rare.

@@interkul HP said the heat sink & pipes can handle the extra heat, but I am not sure if the 6550b is a 32 - bit or 64. Basically I found (tossed out) 2 6550b laptops but both screens are pretty messed up!
