Some do just for fun even if they like what they see. Some weird "i'm cool brain damage thing" i guess, anonymity grows interesting fruit sometimes.

Journey to the center of the board: the hidden shorted cap
It’s refreshing to see the satisfied expression on your face after you troubleshoot and make repairs! Keep the great content coming and thank you.
Always a pleasure to see professionals at work!
It's fun to see you when you find the problem and fix it. BIG smile!
This type of detective job is the best content in my opinion! Finding the problem, investigating the connected areas, and concluding the exact location. Excellent job! I ordered a power injection tool a week ago and super excited to receive it -- hoping to use it to fix a couple of pokemon games!
My day start this good! Watching quality content.
Always look forward to these videos. They're helping me with my own PCB design.
Yay, another video! Happy Sunday!
The things I appreciate most about your videos is the methodology and logic you use. Logic is so rare nowadays and most people just don't seem to know how to think their way through a problem. Your videos clearly show how doing so works and why an immediate emotional response is rarely the proper way to tackle a problem. Thanks again for another great video.
I am learning so much from your channel Alex, particularly when you show how to follow the traces/pads to the fault. I have always found this quite difficult before but with your explanations I am finding it a lot easier to follow. Please keep explaining following traces/pads. Thank you for all your fantastic videos.
You are a real inspiration for me and I'm sure everyone else who watches and enjoys your journey.
Thank you Alex for once again showing us your troubleshooting skills in realtime. You are a master at your craft sir! Fred
This video is a must watch. Very informative and it literally shows your how to find the fault. Great job!! Absolutely love these videos.
You sure love your job ! That big smile when all was fixed is admirable !!
A great start to a Sunday with one of your videos !
Great Work. Voltage injector and thermal cam saved the day.
What a good investigation of short....well done Alex
Your methodology and experience is awesome. I always look forward to learning from you everytime. Great video.
Nice victory! for the cap find! Always feels like a victory when you find the short and fix something. Keep up the good work! With a job like this it almost feels like playing detective, it does not feel like work.
Another amazing video, showing the wright way to diagnose without schematics! Well done!
It is fascinating to watch the process of tracking down an issue. I really enjoy your content, well done!
Nicely don again. My wife loves his smile when he figured it out.
I love how after so many years of fixing, you're always getting this nice smile after a fix. Beautiful too see this passion. Big up to you and your team.

I am impressed by the voltage injection pin point the culprit with the help of a thermo camera. Brilliant!

Your job get easy by having right tools. Really awesome to see your videos and diagnose the problem within a mintues.

Once again I learned something new.... I still don’t know how to inject voltage, but I’m improving with yours videos. Thanks again

Need to get myself a thermal cam. Great bit of kit! Another great video!

Great job Alex doing a well done job 👏

I love your videos. Whats make me feel so glad i see your face when short is located. Amazing. Congratulations from BRAZIL
Finding the cap is actual job which is shorting the other components, great work, sir 😊
I love thermal camera repairs. Wish I had one too. Great video 🙏
You did a great job saving the world!
Once I wanted to buy a Spectre with charging issue. The seller said it's just a connector problem, but after seeing many videos from you, I knew it's a totally different issue. We also learn from your videos.
Tks Alex to share your knowledge with us.
Fantastic repair !!! With the fault so far away from the Mosfets really impressive !!!!
The importance of having a good quality thermal camera. Just a contribution for anyone, sometimes a short doesn't produce enough heat to be detected, in these cases you could try the Kelvin method (4 wire), search for that. Nice job as always. Peace.
Just found this channel yesterday, and I haven't stopped watching it! Can't wait for something of mine to break so I can try to search for the issue. I really appreciate that OP repeats things he's surely said in earlier videos (like what type of flux he's using). So please keep that up for us noobs. My question - is there a video that shows an example of how to setup this short circuit search? The way I understand it, is voltage is being injected somewhere and a continuity test is being done. I'm looking for a noob version of this - where to inject the voltage, what to set the multimeter to, etc? In the meantime, I'll keep watching and cheers for this awesome channel!
I've learnt a lot from you, i know one day I will equip my workshop and do an excellent job just like you. "Mwenyezi Mungu akujalie baraka zake"
im not that excellent in electronics but the way i look your at your smile means that device will serve another year to its owner thank you!
Another fantastic result Alex
Great approach Great deduction And fixed... Thanks for sharing your experience.
Investigative work is always the most fun part of the repair. 👌👍
Awesome work. You are genius in repairing laptop and phones. Really enjoy to watch your videos
Great work I love your vids. I especial love it when you get a troublesome device fixed and you can see that you are genuinely happy with getting it fixed. It reminds me of something my grandpa used to say “you can teach a man a job and he will work for a living. Or the smart man makes something he loves his career and he will never have to work. He will go to play and get paid for it. Which do you chose?”
Wow that's amazing, I also want to fix board level repair soon when I can afford to buy some tool. As of now I love watching you're video man I learned a lot. Love from PH❤️🇵🇭
Thx for sharing. My short hunting is a little different. I use a current injection of about an amp and measure the voltage drop along the trace. This will guide you as to which path to take when the trace forks.
Great work. Verry impressing to see how you do the search for a fault.
Hi there , first it was perfect diagnosis without schematics, and second it was very good you explained how to read and fallow the path on the motherboard, please upload more like video , how to follow track and path to find the issues without schematics . your explanation is so easy and awesome. thnx
After follozing you for a time, i juste do my first real repair even :) i was a efi chip desoldering /programing / soldering for a macbook air a1466 emc 2632, and now it works. by the way it was olso my first macbook opening, o i ripped to small connector that i olo fixed. Thanx alex

Beautiful, your face shows how happy you are! congratulations for the video.
Another great lesson for us, very detailed explanation, thank you.
Another great video, indeed experience teachers us more and more , I have been watching your videos and I have seen how you have mastered the art of knowing that the same chip is the faulty one always ..big up big man learning alot from you.
I want a thermal cam. And a voltage injector. And a microscope and ring light. Love these videos, brilliantly done as always. One cap, takes down whole laptop. Wonder how many electronics in landfill just because a cap has shorted….. Bravo Alex, keep up the great work and videos 💪👌
All the trouble that causes a single capacitor, excellent job as always. :)
All this technology undone by one faulty little cap. Amazing.
Your content makes me so happy, thank you
Such an amazing job... Hard to find this one... Always top job Alex.
U really best instructor of us more over you had brought mind ..❤️❤️
Hi there , at 09:46 , you explained because of short to ground we can inject the power to any ceramic capacitor to find the short , just i wanted to say big thankyou for your explanation, because i though that we must inject power to the specific capacitor !!!! i saw a lots of video but they didn't explain exactly how to inject the power on the mainboard .but your explanation was easy , perfect and clear. thankyou for all your explanation in your videos . Thank you for spend time for us to make a tutorial video . please make more like this video with a good and perfect explanation .
Excellent work and content. Good job, Alex 👍
So good watching the process step by step.. thankyou for sharing, Sir.
Great teacher Alex! Love the way you explain
I accidentally crossed one of my USB peripherals with 12V and my HP laptop died instantly. I have always done my own repairs but rarely on a laptop MB so your videos are a huge confidence builder so when I go into my MB I have confidence. Thank you.

Well done...this needs lot of patience and experience
What a difficult hunt, hat up for you alex like always thanks for the knowledge sharing
Wow That's a thing Only Experienced experts can do... Great Job...🙂
Getting addicted to your videos
Very useful info. Describing your train of thought helps tons to people who haven't spent so much time doing this...like me :). ERB channel is a little too "basic" and never pursues an actual fault to conclusion, while other more advanced channels just assume damn near everything is second nature to the audience.
Your such a good teacher!
