The twist hinges! So nostalgic. Ever since lenovo debuted the yoga now every convertible laptop uses the same style as the lenovo yoga. Same with tablets it took the stand idea from the surface pro

Same with backlit keyboards. Sometimes certain designs seem to win overall.

Agreed, really is a sturdy piece of kit.
Used to use these at work before they were phased out. Common issue of screen failure, but well liked.

I have the maxed out G2 with stylus and dock (I am in the process of selling it to a friend). Great keyboard, lousy speakers. Very nice machine overall. Havinf 4G is nice. The screen is pretty good, similar to the IPS on my old X220, but much brighter (I put a matt screen protector on). Overall still a pretty nice machine, especially if bought at a good price.

Are you talking about the coin cell, CMOS battery? It only needs to be replaced if your computer complains of date/time errors.
Which would you prefer as a portable daily driver, one of these or an equivalent generation Lenovo, say, Helix? Personally I would go for a heavier X230T for the option of 2 drives and 2 ram slots.

I'm not sure it supports N-Trig or Wacom. That would just leave a stylus that simulates finger touch.

Hey there, Canva is web-based so the researched needed are pretty minimal. What I will say from somebody I know that used one of these in a similar setting, they weren't pleased with it. A machine this age isn't ideal. Often one can get a much newer machine for the same price, maybe a little more. What do you like about this machine in particular?

@@LaptopRetrospective I think it is really the weight because I am currently using a 15.6 i7 4th gen laptop that I bought brand new on 2015 (7 years had passed lol) and I bring it everyday to school and I figured I really need something lightweight and what made me consider it is the microprocessor because it has the same i7 4th gen as well and the usual things that I need to do in school is to type out documents and worksheets, do presentations, and make my students watch videos and connect it to a smart tv via HDMI, grade my students on MS Excel and do canva editing (as well as online meetings, conferences, and monthly PTA that I have to attend), also this being. tablet notebook is really comfortable too.

You might want to look into either an X1 Yoga or X380/390 Yoga. An L380/390 Yoga might be of interest. All are tablets and have at least an 8th Gen Intel CPU that will support Windows 11. I have videos on several of them on the channel if you are looking to learn more.

Haven't used either of those. I suspect that audio editing would work better than video editing on this. It depends on the complexity of the project, the resolution of the source video and you expectations for rendering times.

The battery in these things aren't huge. It is a disadvantage of its design. Newer generations will be more power efficient though. It really depends on how much battery life you require.
