I have a thinkpad L13 yoga with amd. The bluetooth and wifi keeps disappearing and the only eay to get it back is to restart the laptop, worse part is the that sometimes i had to restart it twice. Did everything they told me on faq. None of it fixed it. Also just a week ago the hinge broke. Its a thinkpad so i thought it was as tough as my previous unit. It was held by only two screws on the screen cover. Not three like on my previous thinkpad. Quality is becoming less thinkpad it seems. Very disappointed

@@LaptopRetrospective funny as i was just replying to your message awhile ago. my bluetooth disappeared. so i instead used the laptops keyboard and trackpad. only to realize my wifi also disappeared. so i hat to reset the device. and wifi returned but bluetooth was still missing. so i had to shut it down and turn it on again. and still bluetooth was missing. this forced me to push the button behind the laptop to disengage the battery to remove all the static left on the laptop. now im back and it all works again. this happens a lot.on my previous laptop, i use to just put my laptop on sleep and i never had any problem with battery draining or wifi bluetooth going missing. i have reported this to lenovo. as its a year old warranty no longer is applicable and i do not have another laptop to use to have it serviced in another country (which will probably take more than a month with the shipping etc) my L13 yoga i believe is the gen 3 with amd ryzen pro 7 . i hope lenovo does listen to complaints. because this is a hardware issue and not software. lenovo is the only laptop company that still seems to keep the buttons for the touchpad and keep the trackpad. so i do hope they improve quality. this is gen 1 kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWystZOAqrfJlrw.html . it has three screws on the screen. the L13 gen 3 only has 2, the plastic that holds the screw is actually broken on mine. tried searching for replacement online and only found gen 2 gen 1 screen. so im left with one option, super glue. which did work. but i am not comfortable with this solution, so now i no longer fully 360 turn the hinge. i just use it like a regular laptop.

These early elite books have serious driver issues. That’s all I know. I have an elite book 8440p. Great laptop if it weren’t for the driver issues. Constant black screens after waking from sleep. Also occasionally throttles the processor for no goddamn reason to just 0.19ghz. DisplayPort audio doesn’t work either with all but the oldest nvidia driver available and the quick launch buttons do not work properly on windows 10. The IDT audio control panel does not work properly on windows 10 either and the intel wifi occasionally stops working too. worst of all my 8440p had begun showing “product information not valid” out of nowhere and the microphone would stop working when the laptop goes to sleep. So I no longer like the laptop anymore.

This is a great candidate for game streaming from my at-home workstation with sunshine and moonlight! I just bought the tablet model for $35 (hope I wasn't scammed) and tested streaming on a Core 2 Duo T5470 and GMA X3100 with one of my other older laptops, and it did relatively well with minimal latency at 1280x800.

I also had my Thinkpad T430 from 2022, still has it, it's a beast and with every optimization i did, it came out SOO GOOD! Sadly, it died on 11th july 2024 because it wasnt starting like i press the power button but it's fan spins to the max for one second and then it shuts off with no signs of display or life, i targeted my RAM because I have 8gb (2 stick 4gb each) of ram and one stick may have died BUT the processor wont even clock it too! So i went to a repair shop and the repair guy replaced my i5 3320M with i7 so it started good! But as i am a gamer especially Minecraft, so the money i can spend on it, i can just get a w540 with even a nvidia card! So yeah i loved my beastpad but salute to it. I'll sell it to the market for good price then add some more money to get the W540.
