Here's our unboxing of the HP EliteBook Folio 9470m. This laptop was designed to be the business professional's ultimate accessory, designed to be thin and light, packed with a long battery life and loads of security features to protect your files. The system comes with an Intel Core i5-3427U running at 1.8GHz that can be boosted up to 2.8Ghz via turbo, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and a 180GB SSD. It also comes with a 14" diagonal LED backlit display with a native resolution of 1366x768, 2 USB 3.0 ports with one being a sleep and charge port, SRS Pro Audio sound and Bluetooth 4.0.

I use the 9480 i5 for work but basically the same design. Just ordered a 9470 i7 and it's on its way. This thing is a beast even several years later especially for developers in a company. Battery is about as good as my SP3, best feeling keyboard on the market, and extremely durable.

Hey Jeff, I appreciate you doing these vids. Very informative and well presented. I wonder why manufacturers persist in making 14'' laptops with 1366x768 resolution, especially on premium systems...1600x900 is much preferable and higher resolution is the way of the future in general.

Ataur Rahman 9480m has 4th generation processor with intel hd 4400 graphics,rest is same

Doesn't have the optical drive
Does 9470m have sim card slot? I love using sim card on laptops.

Just buy it on 2020 after 1month no problem just try to switching on ssd
Great review, although the battery doesn't last 9 hrs. It lasts less than 4 hrs.

Dude no....its a fact tho this folio is my old laptop and thr battery literally last for the entire days for me
whats good if it comes with 1366x768 display... seriously?? These days 1080p displays itself are becoming a little common/obsolete. No wonder why HP sales are soo down recently.

I actually just picked one up and am typing on it right now. Everything is super fast and responsive and it runs great on Windows 10 and Linux Mint with no issues at all. Great buy even by today's standards. I picked mine up refurbished on eBay for $250.
