Ғылым және технология

A video about Ángel Martin's excellent OS/X+ system extension module for the 41C family of calculators, as demoed on a SwissMicros DM41X. OS/X+ is a curated collection of the most useful system extension programs from older modules such as the CCD, HEPAX and AEC ROMs.
You can buy the DM41X on the SwissMicros site at:

Thank you for a very interesting and helpful video. It is very useful to have videos that explain these modules in a simpler way than reading the documentation that can be quite convoluted. Please do more on HP41 modules if you can they are very helpful. Also have you thought about doing some on HP-IL? That would be great too.

Very cool. I love my SwissMicros DM15L, but I'm looking for a calculator that can run the J programming language, for more complex matrix work. Do you know of any calculators that could do this?

Hi - I don't know of any calculators that natively support J. There are apps for Android and iOS and you may be able to build the source against the ndless SDK for TI Nspire calculators.

@@CalculatorCulture Isn't the ndless SDK non-persistent? The reason I like calculators is that they come from a time when we designed things to do one thing and one thing well. I would love to see a calculator that natively runs programming languages. Like jupyter notebook but on a calculator. Using phones without physical keys or jail breaking seems antithetical to this. However, I appreciate your suggestion

How to use all single pixels with the DM41X? Which module will help?

There isn't a way using the standard firmware currently. You can write your own environment from scratch though and the dmcp sdk supports drawing individual pixels. Check out @calculatorclique's channel for examples.

It's hard to understand half of what you're saying because you tend to mumble towards the end of your sentences!

Hang a moving blanket up in the room to reduce echo, and experiment with distance to microphone. Great stuff
