Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo' Houseplant Care - 45 of 365
I shot this in early spring before this flowered, but if you've seen one of my Instagram posts here: / bya1hqnf69g - you will see this very plant in bloom, which is lovely because I got it pre-bloom in this video. And boy oh boy-when it's in bloom-it's a feast for both the eyes AND the nose (because the flowers are really fragrant).
Anyway, this takes the #45 spot in "365 Days of Plants" and shows that even though it's small-it's mighty! I'll go over basic care tips for this plant, where it's native to, and more. (And don't forget to check out my other hoya videos, because I go into care more extensively there)!

Mine is flowering right now. The scent is heavenly!
Love this cute little hoya, I would love to find one someday. Thank you again for this series Summer.
I just won a 3” rooted plant. I’m so completely happy with her. Video was very informative 👍

I have all mine in a northern window. They are doing great there.🤗
This is the only Hoya that I struggle with so much! It always gets root rot, and I am doing quite good with my other ones.
I'm from the Philippines... hard to keep plants in my small apartment in Ontario. Love your videos
Cute hoya
That's neat
👍👌😍
oh i wish i could find this in manila
What is your usual soil mix for hoyas?
So i have a hoya Eskimo cutting. It’s doing well with new growth but the new leaves have next to no silver variation. What am i doing wrong? The larger base leaves are very silver. Edited to add its in an indirect bright window all day.
I was born and raised in the Philippines but I have never seen this plant there. Is this also rare in the Philippines?
i'm considering getting one as my first hoya, are these suitable first hoyas?
