The blooms are beautiful, the colour is strong and showy. What smells bad for us humans, surely smells delightful to some specific type of pollinators the plant needs. Truly interesting from that point of view.

This was my first ever stinky bloom experience so I thought to make the video and warn people. I still like the leaves but decided to cut off any peduncle . Thanks for watching and have a great weekend.

@@lucyeloisa7165 but the good part is the leaves are gorgeous and for the most of year it's ot blooming. Besides as you know smell is subjective which means you might get a different smell than mine. Let me know once it bloomed! Good luck!

Oh, that's too bad. Why can't they all just smell pleasant. The leaves and blooms are pretty though. I had same discovery about hoya cummingiana, just couldn't stand the fragrance...

🥰 what colour is the flower . It was under the yellow light so I can’t really tell what colour it is. I am From Vietnam. Cao Nang is a place there.

Yes, you're right under the yellow light it seems it's yellow, but in real life it's actually white blooms with red in the centre. Good looking bloom, but the smell was not pleasant . Thanks for watching and thank you for telling me about the city in Vietnam. Happy growing.

@@minhja4924 You should give it a lot of sun and may be some cooler nights to make her bloom and make sure you take her out of your bedroom when you saw a pedencle forming. Good luck 👍
