Just installed my ML240L V2. I didn't know where to plug the pump on the motherboard and yours is the one video I found that explains it perfectly. Thanks for the video it really helped.

This video was very helpful. Shows where the cables go and how to install. I brought this cooler for my pc after my old cooler died.

I will add that the manual does NOT mention LGA1200 and it was impossible to get hold of cooler master for answers, so this video was extremely helpful.

this installation GUIs is very useful. One tip I'll give is to put the fans in the pull configuration behind the radiator because it will be easyer to clean dust

I have a question. I have the LGA 1200 mobo and the back bracket for the back of the mobo does not much what you have in this video. Did they change the black bracket as mine has no area to thread into. It has weird black plastic clips and long screws with a little thread on the end and on the other end a flat square head with no screw driver slot. This is my first time installing the cpu liquid cooler and it is starting to stress me out!

I am going to mount this cooler on a CoolerMaster MB500 case which already has 2 fans in the front. I saw a video of someone doing that same combination that I will use and he has mounted the radiator on top of the case with fans from inside to outside instead of the front of it with fans from outside to inside like you did. Is that totally fine or should I get the case fans removed from the front, mount them on top and then mount the radiator and its fans on the front like you did? Is it just a question of preference of each person or does it make any difference?

I know this video is slightly older now but i'm hoping you can help with a pretty simple question. I have this exact AiO and case, i would like to use fans on both sides of the radiator. So my question is does it matter if i install the first set of fans on the outside of the case like done in this video vs leaving the stock phantek fans on the inside position they come and adding the radiator +2 more fans. Is the weight too much to have all 3 layers inside the case? Or is best practice mounting the first 2 fans outside (like this video), then radiator inside the case with extra 2 fans attached inside? Less confusing version: |FAN| |RAD| CASE |FAN| VS |FAN| |RAD| |FAN| CASE - does it matter?

Those screws that you put in around the COU before putting the water block on, mine don’t fit my motherboard. What should I do?

I have cpufan 2 instead of pump fan. would it be a problem if I plugged it into cpufan 2? BTW female is 3 pin while the male on the mb is 4 pin. does it matter which pin I leave off?

Once again perfectly explained and if someone still gets it wrong well they weren't paying attention .. I love that you had to tell someone that the motherboard and the hardware other than the cooler weren't included in the box or the cost lol.. Maybe I'm biased but I do prefer the way Intel attach their cooler over AMD. Maybe its just made for simple people like me but hey I'm cool with that lol.

I am currently using a i5-11600KF with a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB cooler. I am considering to upgrade my i5-11600KF to maybe i7-12700KF. I see Cooler Master just issued a new MasterLiquid ML240L ARGB V2 Liquid Cooler (LGA1700 supported), which has the LGA 1700 mounting kit included but the main cooler is almost the same as the older-version ML240L. I wonder if Cooler Master will possibly offer a separate sale for just the LGA 1700 mounting kit for their older-version ML240L V2 cooler? Cuz without being able to buy the LGA 1700 mounting kit for my ML240L V2, I will have to re-purchase a second same cpu cooler, which I really do not want to spend extra money on. Any advice?

@Gear Seekers does the pump make a bit of noise? or is something loose on mine? I just installed it today using your video and it makes a really feint whirring noise. My old one (iBuyPower garbage) never made a sound unless it was clogged. Good video, it made the process easy.

I added this to my cyber power prebuilt PC that came with three fans with 3 pin rgb. How can I combine with the cooler master 4 pin fans? I tried a splitter and the fans did not work.

I have the white edition and it works great. As a side note, there is an new model, it is addressable. Mine is connected thru the bigger box version controller and to my Jrainbow header on my MSI board. I can control the pump and fan lighting with masterplus.

your cpu fan connector is for your cpu fan, not the pump. Refer to your motherboard manual and you should see where the pump fan is located.

wonderful video, but i've got a question. the store from my country shows that this cooler isnt compatible with LGA 1200 (10th itel) i mean you just did an installation with an i5 10th ... so i dont get it. I need help about buying a liquid cooler for my MSI mpg z490 gaming carbon wifi and i have no idea which one can be good for this motherboard.... if someonee can suggest something i'd appreciate it so much.
