This dude had some of the best, melodic "bridges" in all of 80s music. The bridge in this song is good enough to be the chorus itself. Also the the bridge in "Things Can Only Get Better" is powerful sounding too! In fact both, songs' bridges were sampled into house tracks by Mohito & Eric Prydz respectively.

Dirty John Betty Broderick Season sent me. This is a SLAPPPPPP!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wenn ich dieses Lied höre,komme ich einfach nur ins Träumen..... WIE SCHÖN WAREN DIE 80er
I miss the 80s soooo much, I would give anything to go back there, the music was just awesome!!!!!!
Such a positive track in these times of rising nationalism and hate crimes. Howard had understood something back in the 80'ies let's get back to those positive vibes and find each other again.
Thank you Jesus for making me a Teen in the 80's Amen!!!
This guy, this guy, I tell ya, he was profound with his music, not only musically, but lyrically as well. Amazing man. I cannot express how much his music means to me. Love you, Howard!!! Thank you!!!
I'm with you all: Better Off Dead. One of my absolute favorite movies... still cracks me up.

There is no music like 80's music. Love it, and miss it. Whenever I hear any HJ, I'm instantly in high school again. Amazing.
I never knew there was a video this song. The 80s was like living in the future . The music was so ahead of its time.

But with hope. This era has no hope and music is garbage.
I was born in 83. Living in Atlantic city this played all over the boardwalk on the radio in the late eighties. Seems like a time caught in imagination and discovery. Difficult and simplistic.
This guy was amazing, he was the epicenter of british pop in the 80's, but he had such a mix of raggae, soul, blues-you name it, and it was CLASSIC!
What music we had back then , This song is banging ,love it . The eighties what a time ,just look at what kids have got to listen to today, ...PURE CRAP. !!!

god this is why i want to live in the 80s so badly, all the best music that i've heard even up to this point. so damn good.
The 80s were the best! Even kids of today hear 80s music and want more - they love it. It's like the 80s are to the 2012 era what the 60s were to the 80s. And if that doesn't make sense, heck, I was born in the 70s! XP
What a great classic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"don't wanna talk about the weather, don't wanna talk about the news, just wanna get to the real you inside".. I love it
I guess I carry the 80's with me. I was named after better off dead. Born back in 2004. Holding my name with pride!
I completely agree with you hhgtipower -- I love this song and Howard Jones. I want the 80's back too! In my humble opinion, there's just no other decade that produced so much great music from so many different artists!! 5 stars! --Kim
love this song and artist... one of my fav from the 80's..
What an adorable Lad and talented musician!
Howard Jones is an Xtra classy musician of this decade. Wonderful....
This is as 80s as it gets. Love it.
This one is permanently linked to one of John Cusack's early hits, Better off Dead. Good story, funny as hell, and the scene that had this one as an aural backdrop was a good one, bringing a '67 Camaro back from the dead

I had to pinch myself the other day that I am now 41! - I certainly don't look it or even feel it, yet the true beauty of this song, was that it was made in an era when the notion of multiculturalism was so very different in the 1980's. He was such a gifted singer-song-writer!

Datra Hardaway but don't forget Paul Hardcastle also brilliant
This dude had some of the best, melodic "bridges" in all of 80s music. The bridge in this song is good enough to be the chorus itself. Also the the bridge in "Things Can Only Get Better" is powerful sounding too! In fact both, songs' bridges were sampled into house tracks by Mohito & Eric Prydz respectively.
Language lessons. Spoken by a man who truly knows. How to ski.
love howards music makes me think ov happier times way a head ov his time love the 80's
This is #2 on my playlist right now, just after Hide and Seek!
My favourite artist ever. 2nd favourite tune, 'What is Love' by Howard will always be No. 1!
