I was at a concert of Howard Hewitt at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. The sound system went out, wasn't appropriate. Howard Hewitt, said, you know what. God gave me a gift of song, and I'm going to perform this concert without the sound system. And He sang all his songs acapella. I've never heard nothing like that before or after. Howard Hewitt, does not play! He sang for an hour with no microphone, no amps, no music. It was unbelievable. He probably doesn't remember this event, but I do!

Howard is a Masterful singer. He is one of 10 crooners in the country who has complete control over his vocal registers. I grew up on Shalamar's music back in the 70s. My mom loved his outstanding musicianship too.

Howard Hewett has a story to tell. This homecoming was such a delight to see.

The man Howard was blessed with a gift of song and a ability to make millions as well as travel all over the world on tour in sold out concerts but he never forgot to reach out to the fans who made him what he he is today and that is a wealthy man .
