I haven't wrestled since high school and just realized how this concept could have really upped my wrestling game.

Yeah pur highschool coaches taught us to not get stuck in collar tie positions and to only snap his head and move it if you collar tie.
I can feel the surge of power from watching this video
This really opened my eyes because people would always hold onto the snap so I thought it was normal but thanks for the video👍

Game changer
Thanks for the video, Mr Kolat. I've been implementing this recently and I've noticed I can get cleaner takedowns with these types of snapping set-ups
Such a good fundamental video. Thank you!!!
I'm going to try this on my sister next time she picks on me.

Lol you would hate to wrestle me
Thank you misters good
I worked almost exclusively from a collar tie. A guy can do a lot of nasty things to his opponent from a collar tie.
Nice
Love seeing people try to tell Cary Kolat what wrestling should be 💀 Wrestling is a contact sport, didn’t think I was supposed to caress and comfort my opponent

You can still practice, find clubs and open tournaments. If not that just get a buddy and go and do it

More and more clubs have adult programs now. If you think competition is too far above, no-gi grappling is also a good option.
thats how you turn a wrestling match into a fight

Ya this guy has good videos but hes a cunt to his students. Ive seen him go 100% in drilling videos just swatting some skinny kids face into the mat......like dude i dont need to see you hurt someone to understand the move. I wouldn't trust him as a training partner
I did this on my Jiu jitsu coach once and he lost his shit

This slap is nowhere near as harmful as a closed fist hit in the back of the head. Try again
I know what he means. But I can see this being and illegal move. Could cost Warning or even penalty.
