    Yeah pur highschool coaches taught us to not get stuck in collar tie positions and to only snap his head and move it if you collar tie.

    I worked almost exclusively from a collar tie. A guy can do a lot of nasty things to his opponent from a collar tie.

    You can still practice, find clubs and open tournaments. If not that just get a buddy and go and do it

    More and more clubs have adult programs now. If you think competition is too far above, no-gi grappling is also a good option.

    Ya this guy has good videos but hes a cunt to his students. Ive seen him go 100% in drilling videos just swatting some skinny kids face into the mat......like dude i dont need to see you hurt someone to understand the move. I wouldn't trust him as a training partner
