Hi Sadie, I wanted to say this was a podcast, I didn't think that I needed it, but I think God wanted me to see it, because I saw that Jackie would be on the podcast too, so thank you both. Is podcasting hard & can anyone do it? How long does one need to fast, if you want to be closer to God (can one fast if you have health/medical condition (s)?
Fasting from social media is key when you realize you’re so distracted in prayer.

I agree! The 2+ hours I would spend on TikTok ALONE, I spend praying now. I can’t express enough how different I feel and how different my life in general has been. Definitely recommend!❤️

I don't fast from social media. I just don't go on it at all. Maybe once or twice a year I might go on Facebook or something but I'm not interested in meditating on the lives of other people. I need to meditate on the truth of the word of God, sweeter than honey to my mouth 🥰

Such a great listen!! The title was misleading because it was so much more than that! when they discussed having intimacy with God ,knowing God and loving God without distractions, my goodness that was so good!

Reminds me of something that really knocked my soaks off some years ago. Proverbs 31:25: "she laughs with no fear of the future" I was like what kinda a woman is this. I was astonished troubled me for days then I was making tea. I still remember that Small Still Voice just said "because she knows who holds the future". All this time I thought I could never be her. Being such a woman is unobtainable. And when He answered me I knew it's not her. I don't need to be strong and Great. God is and because He is, I am. Like Paul said" I am that I am by God's grace" Just gotta lean on Him! And this is so significant rn in my life(was literally crying this afternoon)to be reminded God answers me.Cause I've been doubting that🤦🏾♀️and secondly was worried bout my future. I do not need to worry God is sooo Good😭🙌

I can relate….sometimes in the middle of prayer my mind wanders and I just stop and say “Lord clear my mind” then I continue….many days I have to do it every other minute. ❤🙏♥️

Love the talk about authenticity. It’s one of my favorite words. Sooooo much ministry lies in a person or persons being themselves.It’s a blessing to others when led by the Holy Spirit. I love that part when Jackie talks about everything you embody is what God what God wants to use basically for His glory.

Best podcast I’ve listened to in a while. Everything spoken about is where I’m at, on a social media hiatus. And just the talks on meditating scripture and asking God how to ask him questions etc. really just gave me the push to make my time with him in this season better 🎉

Man. I need to lay off from watching hollywood teen college movies because wow. First time exposed to Sadie Robertson and her channel and I immediately associated her with those teen white girl cheerleaders because of the way she speaks. That "stereotype" perpetuates the narrative that they are not quite smart nor intelligent, so I kinda mentally painted her with that same brush... only to be pleasantly surprised by the rich content oozing out of her mouth/heart. Goes to show that never book a judge by its cover. Great episode, really impactful, insightful stuff 👌. Keep building the Kingdom of God, trust me, we need you to.
