I am in Education and am genuinely depressed by the number of teachers who think it is perfectly acceptable for them to indoctrinate their young students by being totally biased … and yes it is almost without exception left wing and extreme. This is often applauded rather than being a cause for concern. Students are easy fodder because of their innocence of the real world. They soak up rhetoric from teachers they like and trust like sponges, the majority never questioning the narrative. British everything has long been off the curriculum. We appear to be the only nation that self-flagellates and constantly apologises for its past and even present culture. For this reason people feel ‘homeless’ so they latch onto activist groups so they can belong.

Millions of young people in uni are being manipulated and they are pressured to vote Labour and for the EU. Without the students and the Asian community the Leavers would have won by a landslide. And of course all the EU people that now have British citizenship. - marriage..Great Britain is a great great country and people flock here. I am so proud of being British. We are a wonderful people. The most humorous in the world. We fought alone in Europe against the madness of Hitler and won. Later some helped but , at first we were determined, clever and alone. Everyone wants to migrate to the UK. Why? A British passport is a prized possession. Why? We are best when our backs are against the wall. We are fierce and intelligent fighters, yet we have impeccable manners. We are known for our fair-mindedness. Slavery has been around for the whole of history and STILL is. Only one nation in thousands of years tried to wipe it out. ONLY ONE. AND THAT WAS BRITAIN. We are known for our sense of freedom. We are known for our high standard of education. But , for how much longer . The leftist wokes want to destroy our freedom of speech for they know then that we will lose all our freedoms. Without debate and with false ancestor guilt we will finally become even worse than North Korea.

“The conservative censorship we saw at work this year in the battle over the arts is certainly loathsome, but I believe that liberal censorship may pose one of the biggest impediments to free speech in the future,” Hughes said. “The ‘sensitivity police’ are out to promote the idea that no one should be allowed to say anything that might possibly offend anybody else under any circumstance that could make somebody feel like an abused minority. I think this is a deadly course to follow--one that will not only cause free speech to suffer, but will ultimately destroy the language itself.” - Robert Hughes, LA Times 1990 It's not just woke. Whenever they pull out their “phobia-ist” attacks, I just simply say either of the 3 That is a slur not an argument (white privilege, white fragility) Or What you assert arbitrarily, I dismiss arbitrarily. (Woke accusations, systemic oppression) Or It isn’t phobia, it is disgust, your arbitrary assertion of phobia is just a confession through projection that deep down you are fearful to come to terms with your disgusting behavior (irrational homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia) Puts them on the defensive as you lay out the truth. Since they cannot demonstrate their point they are powerless. Tactic has never let me down The key thing is to just get the woke on the defensive. They are all offense and no defense. Mercilessly seek definitions, they cannot provide them; they have never really faced real resistance so they aren’t used to articulating their ideas outside of slogans. Once you do that you win every time.

Dr Phillip - I could not agree with you more regarding your views about the damage and dare I say the 'horror' of Woke to come, which will ultimately unless we stopped will lead to a situation as with the Killing Fields we saw with the Khmer Rouge (1975-1979). Think not, think too extreme , over the top - well think again. Having become a Maths Teacher later in life after being in industry and the RAF I was just shocked by the takeover by political correctness instigated by middle-class left wing all graduate ex teachers. I did quite well even reaching DH status, had excellent discipline, got on well with the kids and parents and also achieving good exam results for often tough working class kids (as I once was). But for 16 years I face a daily battle of trying to fight political correctness which eventually made me ill, I considered myself quite fit and tough back then (ex Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do) and thanks to giving an excuse to my enemies I was effectively driven out and chose to leave a job I loved and was good at. My point: I witnessed the birth of Woke from political correctness and the obvious Marxist left wing takeover of our education system which its tentacles now spreading through all aspects of British life, primarily because of the indoctrination planted by teachers I fought with, into people now in positions of power. Sadly and I know well-meaning but with all respect to you and others who think like you, which is along the same lines as Chamberlain did before WW2 - YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE PRAT ! .. if you truly think your suggestions about resisting Woke are going to have any affect. We are at war !! - the very foundations, history, culture and way of our life which is very much based on freedom of expression is going. I know having been in the RAF the amount of money, organization and time that goes into the Army. Airforce and Navy whose one and main purpose is to defend us against attack by hostile forces that wish to take away those foundations but we are doing ‘nothing’ to stop an attack on those same freedoms. That is exactly what is happening within our nation primarily driven by our education system, which might as well be a country in its own right with its own beliefs and values that is very happy for the public to pay for its continual growth. Extreme circumstances call for extreme measures but thanks to the power of minorities and the media out leaders are far too scare to be called authoritarian in bringing in measures to stop even ‘illegal’ activities which teachers are technically not allowed to do i.e. promote their own political and personal views. Such measures are laws to come into being to fine, dismiss and even put in prison those teachers who every day are indoctrinating young peoples minds. The same needs to be done in advertising, films, TV stations, places of work, newspapers and any institution where their role and purpose has nothing to do with politics ie recent false and non realistic given message that all families are made up of different colour skin types. Even more so, is a method ie fines or only private viewing of films that now as we see so much off i.e. a black Anne Boleyn not done for the purpose of having all black actors portray the story but for the Woke political purpose to portray the ‘fact’ she was black back then which is false and akin to ‘1984’. I am sure you will see me as an extremist but these are now extreme times and require extreme measures, which sadly I can't see happening when very intelligent and knowledgeable people like you really think such measures (ie pissing in the wind - apologies my uncouthness but sometimes my working class background thinking is the only one that sums up how I feel) will change things over time.

This is all well and good but to enact real change we need to reconsider the curriculum. The curricular structure is fine but the content, especially historical content, is inadequate. In my history lessons I was taught usually about three things: changes in royal dynasty; how people lived in a given time; and specific historical battles. This is ok, if not boring at times, but the important thing that’s completely lacking here is something to give schoolchildren pride in their nation. American schoolchildren are taught about how they broke away from an unfair and distant administration in the Revolutionary War and then how they fought a war to abolish slavery in the Civil War (though this arguably isn’t why the war happened) and then again how they fought the evil Nazi and Imperial Japanese regimes in WW2. British history, in comparison, is rather neutral about things, morally speaking. The reality of our history, however, is that it contains many chapters many times more morally virtuous than American history. The blockade of the West African slave trade, for example, is perhaps our greatest moment. The forcible abolition of the East African slave trade trade is also something to be incredibly proud of. People like to criticise racist policy in India but they don’t often mention that we outlawed the burning of widows, child marriage and much of the caste system whilst we were there too. There are so many reasons to be proud of Britain that would put Wokeness in its deserved place of shame, but Brits are not given any of these reasons in their education and are consequently left with an incomplete understanding of Britain’s historical values and actions that leads many to hate Britain or, at least, hate its history. Fix the curriculum and, I believe, you will in time fix Britain.
