UPDATE AFTER PSG MATCH: That sucked, really sucked, but I firmly believe everything I said here is still the case. Our best player made a stupid choice that cost us to go down to 10 and IMO the game was lost from there. This team is still good, especially when everyone is available. If Christensen was available this whole thing could of been much different, but a series of unfortunate events helped PSG through. Even with this loss, this is not the same Barcelona that lost 8-2 to bayern or struggled for years without Messi. They are almost there, and a lot of it is because of Xavi. Visca Barca

Good point .With 11 men complete PSG would be beaten in that game but that didnt happen .Anyway that team ks good and getting better .Come next season Barca would be very solid and people will be shocked at how they would be destroying teams

Xavi took a Europa League team and brought it to the UCL quarter finals with a big chance to reach the final. He won the league and is going to finish 2nd with many injuries and many young players in their first year and with a very limited budget he is fixing the problems of the Bartomeu era. Xavi deserves a lot of credit for bringing the La Masia talents back into Barcelona's identity, especially Gavi and Lamine Yamal, and the passing-heavy style of play. Right now they're a good team but imagine how dominant Barcelona will be in a few years

Well no wonder, that style is very demanding on the back line, DM and attack. For years, we had clowns in most of those positions.

Lets be real Valverde had no game plan or strong mentality if Enrique was still manager they would prob won that year, valverde relied to much on Messi’s shoulders I know Messi was at his peak but whole team needs to function he can’t carry everytime! Sometimes valverde slept during matches just that alone you can tell he isn’t serious or looked sleepy but Barca job is Tough, but I appreciate that he beat real all the time and won the league atleast. What I like about Xavi he has no main stars if we look at the games there is always someone new who scores or assists in games recently, if Xavi had prime Messi oh boy it would be different story, people forget that Xavi has youngsters as a team while other coaches had veterans who are used to this pressure but Xavi right now handles it very good

@@messii648 those teams weren't as good defensively, aging Pique and lenglet, hated lenglet lol. Always made mistakes in crucial games. If we had this defence we wouldn't squander a 4-0 lead but all in the past now.

The introduction of Curbasi has helped the team a lot his line breaking passes creating chances all the way from the back is something we've been missing Christensen is not really that good his an extra CB he should start being more involved with the play he should watch Rodri and try to copy some of the things he does

That's true... But hard to not criticize him coz his biggest attribute when he broke through was his elite decision making at such a young age... I think he is kinda letting the dribbling get in his head too much... The whole stardom thing is getting to him, yes he's the future of the team but now isn't that time, now we need that young lamine who was just tryna do what's best for the team and make as many assists as possible

In my opinion everyone got a bit carried away earlier this season with the doubting of Xavi. If we look at Madrid we see that already under Zidane the team was always struggling a lot in the first half of the season (defeats in El Clasico, 2nd place in UCL group, ...) but locked in in the second half when it came to focussing on the UCL K.o. stages which "saved" their season multiple times where they otherwise would have won nothing. Barca had this problem already back in the MSN days where we were unplayable in the first half, but then made mistakes that costed us badly (2016 UCL, 2018 UCL, 2019 UCL). I'd gladly sacrifice the first half of the season every time if that means we'll become a serious threat in Europe again considering that even with this Real Madrid team after the El Clasico this week the point difference could only be 5 EVEN with all our mistakes in this LaLiga season ...

Honestly, I hope I can offer some constructive criticism, but every video I’ve seen of yours is so incredibly surface level. Barca go on a winning/(not losing) streak and you make a video praising Xavi and how good his tactics are, but when the team isn’t in form, you’re the first one to make a “downfall of (insert players name) video just because the team is in a slump. It’s like you look at the results and make an entire video off of them with very shallow analysis of the games. It’s very surface level and seems like when things are good, you don’t acknowledge where we are lacking, and when things are bad, you don’t acknowledge the strengths of the team. Seems like you don’t really support the club in the sense that you are too quick to whine and moan about certain players (Joao Felix, Lewandowski, kounde, Xavi) for one or two bad games before glazing them when we have a good run of form. It’s not black and white. Also, a lot of what you go over is super basic, with no actual definitive positions, almost like you’re afraid to take a stance on something. It just seems not real, or at least just really bland, like pasta with no sauce. I could go on fotmob, look at Barca stats, and get the same information I get from your videos. Not trying to be a dick but I really hate getting recommended one of your videos attacking a player with an all red thumbnail, followed by one of your videos a week later talking about how good they are. Hope you got something out of this. 👍

We have to relax, we have the 2nd leg to play and we all know Barcelona and what they can do. I hope Barca sits in a midblock and wait for the counter especially in the first half, coz PSG will press really high and look for mistakes at the back so please let's play like the first leg, soak the pressure and release long balls. If Barca decides to cope with their pressure they will crumble and its 1-0 lead for Barcelona. Even a 3-0 lead and 4-1 lead has been blown away before and the reason was Barca went into that game with the mindset of let's go and win again which is good but fails miserably, we saw it at Anfield. If Barca had sat in a midblock and were a bit passive at Anfield it would have been a different story. We saw ManCity sit in a midblock despite beating Bayern 3-0 at home last season when they went to the Allianz Arena and they also sat deep against Atletico Madrid when they went to Metropolitano. Press well and be compact. If Xavi doesn't do this then forget it. And the fans should be calm
