When people argue that WWE didn't waste him, I bring up stuff like this. I bring up how everyone in the 2010s was walking on eggshells. The Shield guys got pushes that people like Kofi and Ziggler didn't get to enjoy until later points. What kind of push is getting handed the world title and losing it in the same night? That's not a push. Thats people backstage taking you for a joke! 😂

Lesnar 2012 is way way stronger than Lesnar potrayed in 2003. The version of Lesnar Eddie beat was just someone who was newer guy within 2 years of career without mma background and it had Goldberg assist to beat Lesnar. The 2012 return version of Lesnar is beast incarnate and legit mma fighter so there was no realistic chance someone like Dolph can defeat him since WWE won't even let him defeat 2003 version young Lesnar too. Also Eddie was a old player and Lesnar was new player in that business the fact Eddie beating a guy who is newer to business was big deal in his career tells how beast the guy Lesnar was at that time he was already young veteran

Thia comment section is missing the point. Yes he was a reliable wrestler and he won many championships. But he should have been one of the top guys of the company, and should've had SEVERAL championship reigns during the 2010s. His look, in ring performance, promos, and matches were WWE championship and World Heavyweight Championship material. WWE had SEVERAL chances during Dolph's WWE run to pull the trigger on him to make him and keep him as a "main event" guy, but they didn't and it's sad and it's ashame. He is a main event worthy and a main event player. He deserved to as his song says, "Show the world," why he is "The Show Off" by showing off in main event championship matches!

One thing you can't take away from Nic Nemeth is that he overachieved for what he was given. He debut in a group where Kenny Dykstra was positioned to be the break-out star then he became the only person to survive and thrived after the group got buried by DX, while Kenny became a backstage producer. He re-debut with one of the dumbest wrestling names ever and went on to become one of the most over stars by 2012. Then he became one of WWE's perennial workhouses and a guy who could work anywhere on the card for over a decade. That's a freaking legend in my books 👏🏾

I’m sorry everyone, but this whole video is wrong. WWE, as the most prolific pro wrestling promotion alive today, did not fail, misuse, or even waste Dolph Ziggler at all. Dolph Ziggler was just an extremely talented pro wrestler who somehow wasn’t viewed as world champion material by a former WWE Chairman in particular back when he was around. And to me, that doesn’t count as him being failed, misused, or even wasted by this entire company this entire company as a whole. It only counts as him being failed, misused, or even wasted by the ONE PERSON who used to be in charge of WWE back when he was still around.

They never wasted Dolph Ziggler. He was a workhorse superstar used for enhancement talent and the occasional utility guy. He was a grand slam champion was he not? And former multi time world champ so tell me how is that wasting him? Just because he wasn’t champ for 1365 or 500 days or he wasn’t 16x champ. He’s an exceptional seller, made others look like a million dollars. His character work was smooth because he could play the heel or face whatever the story required. He had a few outstanding moments (SS 2014 when Sting debuted, getting punched by Hugh Jackman & of course cashing in with the MITB). He even dated Nikki Bella before Cena got in her knickers. Nah dolph was fine. He maximised his potential and opportunity with the wwe. He asked for his release because he felt he went as far as he could with the company and that was a good judgment call on his part. Compared to guys like Jinder Mahal, recently Gable Stevenson & Mustafa Ali, I certainly wouldn’t say they wasted Dolph Ziggler at all. This is just another case of wrestling fans experiencing delusions of grandeur by unnecessarily rooting for the underdog, wanting them to get over when in reality, Dolph was over and he got over!!

For me WWE never misused, fumbled or failed Nemeth. Nemeth was always a reliable wrestler they can count on for anything. He hardly got injuried and was always a fixture of the upper Midcard into main event. He was always a challenger for any mid card title and a believable opponent for the world title. He’s an amazing worker, will always give you the best match but character wise was always weak. He had flashes like during his feud with The Miz but that’s about it. He never bothered to change it up past being The Showoff and he stagnated becoming just a Shawn Michaels wannabe with his gear and the fact he was now using the Superkick as his finisher. Even now as Nic Nemeth he’s not doing anything different just being The Showoff but now on the Indies. WWE used him well, sure they could have made him World champion more than a few times especially during his 2016 Smackdown Live run but it just wasn’t the right time because Mox just won the title recently and they already had plans to move the belt to Styles. There were just always other people who were more big than him in the title picture

Nemeth is great and WWE didn’t treat him that well but he didn’t give them much to offer other than being a reliable guy who can have good matches. I don’t think he’s lighting up the work either now on the indies as The Wanted Man. I don’t think he had it all personally, he had a lot but he didn’t have a personality or ever gave people a reason to really care or invest. He’s a great worker who can sell well and that’s like his main thing and still is. I want good for him but still doesn’t give me a reason to give a shit about him or has shown me a reason to care other than him being a good wrestler. He isn’t like Danielson, Omega, Okada, Osprey those guys have it all

At best he was always a IC contender or us champ but I could never seen him being world champ after seeing edge Batista and taker the only reason I remember him is cause of the spirit squad or being with Vicky G and trying to screw edge lol literally he was never a top star in my eyes

They should've taken smaller paychecks if they wanted to be in WWE. Some people, it's not about the money, it's about the good story. He wasn't going to get that from Vince.

When I first saw DZ I first thought wow is he Kurt Hennings son. I think if they played it out that he was a relative of the Perfect one. He would of started on the top. Playing with the theme of to perfect to lose and his in ring skills would shine even more . Hell remember when big show first appeared in wcw. They pretended he was Andre the giants kid. So wouldn't be the first to pretend like that.

Multi-time World heavyweight champion, Intercontinental, United States, Tag team reigns and a MITB winner. Ziggler has a good career in WWE. Not exactly a failure when he’s won gold for the decade and a half he was there

Honestly IMO the most simple way to fix dolph was to give him the WWE championship after survivor series 2014 and give him a semi long to long title run

They had several opportunities to pull the trigger on him and make him top dog nd never did it. From MITB, soul survivor and taking on Mox for the WWE title. 😑

Or relinquishing the us title and then taking a break only to come back as number 30 at the rumble instead of taking a continued break and not ever mentioning the us title again and why he relinquished it. Could’ve been a Segway into getting him into the world title picture again.

Quite franly WWE need to do a bit moe cuts. When low to mid carders get huge pushes in other companies after WWE I really question that decision.
