how WET inspired the greatest video game of all time | WET Review
Ойындар
This is how WET inspired the greatest video game of all time.
WET is an Xbox 360 game that came out a very long time ago, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still better than fallout 4.
It's Bethesda's Swan Song, it's their Magnum Opus, it's their MASTERPIECE, that many O men only prey that they could get back to publishing more of.
Instead we got this starfield game out here moseying around with it's Fallout Space sliding SIM lookin head ahhh.
This game is no Remnant 2 because it's actually a fun time through and through, but I'll tell you what it is, it's Max Payne 2.5 the forgotten chapter with moderately jankier movement.
Anyways, enjoy this WET review of the WET game. A classic lost in time, gone, like tears in the rain.

What you have just watched is one of our game reviews where we breakdown some of our favorite games review them in an action pack review. Our style is inspired by people we love watching like ssethtzeentach, mandaloregaming, videogamedunkey, and martincitopants, but of course we add our own touch and a metric ton of memes.

How dis?
I remember when Raycevick shat all over this game and i just sat there wondering what in god's name was he smoking. Every clip he put up to show how bad the game was i just thought "this is just Robert Rodriguez's Max Payne, this is objectively awesome, take your meds!"

More KZreadrs criticized WET. I liked it. This was equivalent of a grind house movie: ridiculous but fun. I get it is not everybody’s taste. But it was good (no more, no less) in my opinion with great music to accompany the action.

Back when games were made for the sake of making a fun experience or just for the sake of it and not just to make a company another billion.
Rubi was a true girl boss. Only difference is she's badass and her personality is not an insufferable twatwaffle from a Twitter/Reddit thread..

This and Stranglehold were just some of many badass games during the 360/PS3 era. Goodamnit, I miss early 2000s gaming. We need to go back to those glory days of gaming.

N64/PS2 was the second golden age. You missed it. Just because it was better than now doesn't make it the best time.
It's like Prince of Persia with guns. Like Max Payne with MASSIVE budget.
I can't wait for the sequel to this game, Wet 2: Hang Out to Dry.

I wouldn't call this a hidden gem, but it's certainly an underrated fun romp.
Ah, yes. Wet influenced Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball
Fleek's laugh is priceless🤣🤣🤣
This game is a huge Tarantino “Wet” dream all over the place.
Literally one of the most underrated games of all time. Absolutely unhinged tone and masterful unique soundtrack. I feel like the only person in the entire world that's an actual fan of this game
I remember Matt (from Two Best Friends Play) talked about working on this game as a QA tester at one point and then went into some of the glitches and development problems WET experienced while trying to get out the door. I've not played it, but I enjoyed the soundtrack, and if there is ever a remaster fixing gameplay problems, I would be excited to play it now!
I was literally just thinking of this game the other day and now no one remembers it anymore. I had a GREAT time on my Xbox in 2009 and "Wet," along with "Saints Row 2" (oddly enough, Eliza Dushku was in both of those games) was one of the reasons why. As for the game this inspired? This quite literally did inspire the skydiving/free-falling levels from Saints Row the Third, although I wouldn't call that even the greatest game in the Saints Row series.
That’s crazy cause ruby really was a baddie in this game
You are honestly my favorite KZread, Pimp Fleek aways bringing out the best content, was there for the lollipop chainsaw stream and was amazing.
This WET made me SWEAT from all action, double weapons and big BU- I mean GUNS GODDAMN
Oh. Oh! That end got me. Had me guessing, but that ending took me out for a drive and dropped me off in a paralel universe. 😂
I remember wanting to get this game and my friend told me not to because all it is, is a girl sliding around in slow motion shooting people. I told him “ what more do you want?”
The amount lead pipes during this stream...glorious.

Truly a game ahead of it's time. Such a stunning and brave female protagonist, great visuals assets, engaging gameplay and overall a great experience. Playing this on Xenia right now.

Another thing to comment on WET. Its soundtrack KICKS ASS! It presented me to this genrer of rock music that I never knew I needed in my life. Is loud, is violent and MY BABY LOST CONTROL! Seriously, is beautiful.

I still love this game. I always wondered what a sequel would look like. The guns, gear, outfits. A young pimp can dream, I guess. Thanks for covering it. 🙏🏾 ❤
Subscribed for the chilly dilly reference alone. Seriously though that's wild. Mustang drive in (premier theatres) ftw. Lmao I used to work for them as a teen.
That stream was glorious Pimp I miss when games were just good ol' fun with big ol' budgets
Would've never guessed Behavior, those guys behind the Risein and Youth Pages series; and the critically acclaimed Yesterstone; made this game. Truly a time.

This is a cannon event! I was in this stream and i lmao, i was so hurt after and i love it
You may be joking, but Dorito's Crash Course along with several other Xbox Arcade titles was the shit.
This one was so intense I'm not sure I remember anything other then the wonderful budget 👌
Fleek, I was having a bad day but now it's a bit better. Thank you, Pimp.
I can't believe you didn't mention "My Friend Pedro". A true spiritual successor to "Wet" and can carry the "WAG" tag with the best of them. Yessir!
I just passed this game last night, i loved every second of it. So much that now im searching up reviews of this game just to watch lol. I love these type of games a lot, it was action packed from beginning to end. Everything was almost perfect, only thing i would complain about it that the final bosses were quick time events, i would've preferred to have killed them myself. Besides that this game was amazing and i regret not playing it much earlier when it came out
If you were well trained with guns and had the superpower to slow down your perception of time, this is what it would be. Besides bruising, you would be able to do the most insane feats of acrobatics. Things like firing guns akimbo while backflipping would literally be like a video game.
I loved it My baby lost control 4 out 5 expert agree She is a danger to herself And to society The soundtrack The visuals and plot like a Tarantino film The gameplay loop The big budget protagonist Loved it and still love ot
I closed my eyes but you never said to open them
Id love it if youd review crackdown + crackdown 2 man. Id love to see it, i think youd fw em. Splatterhouse on the 360 was pretty dope too. Love the videos, keep it up you legend
This game makes me... moist
Wet and Velvet Assassin! Still have my 360. Literally playing them right now!
Fleek the new game review GOAT of YT on jah
Wet is cool and all, but what if fleek reviewed the senran kagura games, cause they honestly deserve love and praise.
Underrated game in my opinion since I rarely hear anyone talk about this game.
Fleek you are my favorite youtuber lmfao
3:31 something about this is so infectiously funny I was laughing right there with them
that did indeed really happen...WE WERE THERE...STOP HAUNTING US SUSAN.
damn fleek, how are you editing so fast
We need a WET remaster or sequal. Rubi as a character really deserves more, very underrated character to be honest.
"money isn't real unless you get it from gambling" Fleekazoid (yall should watch the streams they fire)
Its funny, im currently playing this game
0:35 holy shit that kill bill music just took me back
I was surprised how fun the game was when I played it recently.
Damn, why did i missed that Stream, a live shot down? God damn.
Finally giving this game its props; it was panned when it came out. only problem is that I can't change the controls until after the first battle! I'm an INVERT, YOU INSENSITIVE- I digress. Fun game; underrated!
Loved Wet when it came out. Sooooo good, a shame it never got a sequel.
I love this channel, have watched the assassins creed videos 5-10 times by now and I also love the video about ugly games. I don't really like the live reactions you include since a couple of videos though, that mad solo ranting is the high point of your channel, like in the video about GTA VC (Vietcong) or how the CIA is the best game developer (allegedly)
yo dorito's crash course was my jam tho
This game was a great underrated blast my only issue was that they forced you to do those gun trails to progress that was a terrible idea the soundtrack ost slaps in this also
goddamn I love how you let your mic Clip and pop.
Idk why but all the pimps going "yes sir!" Always kills me
I want to see Fleek review Vanquish someday.
Hey, Fleek, have you played Total Overdose? It's another 3rd person shooter game that features the slow-mo mechanic. Loosely inspired by the "Desperado" trilogy of movies(those movies where Antonio Banderas is some sort of Mariachi/Assassin).
always wanted to try this one back in the day heh
with this one you just reminded me of one of the best games i've ever played... it's Total Overdose
An Era where there’s no BUDGET CUT
3:57 the best part of of the video & some of the funniest bits I've seen
I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME AND THE MUSIC IN IT
Great vid
Doritos crash course was the Dark Souls of Wet Clones
This dropped on my birthday in UK The game was too fun amongst the jank
Maybe give Exoprimal a review, please? They had a "strapping budget" for vigilante skins.
I really liked this game back when it came out on ps3. I should replay it some time.
Was hoping you would name Bulletstorm for the amazing humor and the slowmo crotch shots into explosive objects.
so i recently found these videos, but i watch them at 2x speed, and when i decided to watch at normal speed it felt like i was coming down from a high
Damn you really are a man of culture!
WET is one of my fav games ever for the soundtrack alone. Introduced me to psychobilly, the last new genre I got to enjoy with my mom. She rented it for me at the redbox after picking me up from school for being sick. She caught me playing and jammed out with me, we snagged a copy the next day. Still listen to the arkhams and knock galley west on the regular, the arkhams are actually working on some new stuff atm.
Fleek honestly about to pass Ranton as the best meme reviewer and that’s not an easy task
I still have crash course on my 360, wasnt expecting to ever hear of it again.
You know what… she did have a big ass Revolver
Thank you Fleek
Wet is what Drake of the 99 Dragons _wanted_ to be.
Hearing that background music distracted me so much lol, all I could think of is Slimecicles 'Jort Storm'
I can't wait for the day sir fleek makes a video on the Wii classic Mad world, the game that literally calls it's players pimps
Dude I forgot about Dorito’s Crash Course
Fleek, you have inspired a character for my comic. With your permission, I'd like to bring him to life in your likeness.
