You don't know king JOhn Toycat? You don't know King John!? Famous for being the brother of king Richard the Lionheart, losing the french poseesions of hid dad and for being portrayed as beyond all sense evil and incompetent in every Robin Hood film? To be fair he is probably a bit better than his legacy (mostly because his legacy is being the worst). Also he signed the magna carta and Shakespeare wrote a not so famous play about him. I mean if this isn't exciting what is?

@Triathlon Gaming , Horrible Histories take some creative liberties to help the pace of the song, not only by referring to James as jimmy but they also do this with referring to elizabeth as liz or Richard as rich. I don’t mention it but they also put Gloria after Anne so it rhymes with Victoria. But yes jimmy is referring to James and while a historical inaccuracy some could argue, ultimately it was a children’s show and helps the song.

It only played a small part in the idea of democracy as it was annulled very soon later by pope Innocent lll and neither king John or his barons kept their word. It is only significant as it survived as a text and was used by later scholars to propose the idea of further restrictions to the king. But this was happening all over Europe, and I personally think the French played a more major role in modern representation in government.

Around 1880 Argentina was one of the largest commercial and political allies of the United Kingdom. It was full of English railways and companies , english capital investing, etc.. It was in that period of a few decades that Argentina managed to position itself as one of the richest countries in the world. Unfortunately, the relationship between Argentina and the United Kingdom deteriorated because to populist governments related to the Italian fascism detesting the English. Since relations deteriorated, English companies were leaving the country. Many even banned the music in english. obviously everything exploded in 1982 with the Falklands War 😔 🇦🇷🇬🇧

Okay, if I’m ever in some of the places in the UK, I am going to offend them so much by mispronouncing the city/country names, these are so hard to pronounce Edit: I died when you spelled isle of wight as isle of white, I guess i am not the only one who sucks at british placenames Edit 2: appearently, yorkshire and the humber is a region of england, not a county, i understand your pain, as all other regions are named after the location they are at, for example south west, or are called west or east midlands
