How We Served 15,000 Meals at The NFL Draft Detroit
We served 15,000 meals during the weekend of the NFL Draft in Detroit. A record-breaking 775,000 people attended the event, the highest attendance in NFL Draft History.
We knew it was going to be a hectic weekend, but we had no idea what to expect. Join us on this exclusive behind-the-scenes episode of our NFL Draft Journey in our hometown of Detroit.
Stay Hungry, Detroit.

As a guy who has put 20 plus years in restaurant I respect a owner/manager who gets in the trenches and work with you in busy times

I was there the first day of the draft. Excited and ready to try this amazing food. It’s been on my bucket list for a while now. Got a pic with the front man. It was so delicious!!

I feel for you guys with the POS system arriving late. I hate when my job is dependent on other people doing their part.

Hell yeah Detroit 75!
I gotta respect a manager and owner who steps in the trenches with his crew, I am a manager at a food truck in Petoskey, my boss and I have the same mentality, we work beside our crew, not over them. I love this video and hope to visit when I come to watch the Yankees kick the Tigers ass this summer (sorry 🤣)
Man I just love the way you support your team. Leaving the team at work in the truck and getting the backup delivery for them so they are able to continue to prepare and sell food. Even as head chef I started peeling potatoes when we were running out of them. All other questions are for later. Why didn't we have enough prepared? Who screwed up the mis en place?

Appreciate you, friend
Sweet, Mike, first you got the PGA contract, and now NFL. When I moved from Detroit in 1997, it feels like your food is calling me to come back. Thanks for everything you share. You probably don't want to disclose your Batata Harra recipe?
amazing!!!

I wouldn’t eat at any mid restaurant 45 min before closing. I worked for years in food and beverage and that’s the worst time to show up for not only service but for food too. Fine dining is different, but you don’t show up at McDonald’s or a diner type spot, you’re asking for it if you do.
so did you guys sell out of the fish n chips?

We sold out of everything
There's a reason we call the Point of Sale machine a real POS!!! I dont think a point of sale machine has ever been developed by anyone who ever actually worked in a real kitchen. "Everything says D75 D75 D75...All the same font!" he said and i had a million flashbacks of "Dbl Chs" and "Dbl Ham" from my prior jobs. So many orders from Pizza to Burgers get messed up because the ticket formatting is screwed and unchangeable, usually with low ink in the printer too. I would have hand written your tickets if i was there lol!
Who’d you forget?
Just saw a video about cleaning pesticides off strawberries with baking soda made by this man. That was a joke right?
It should have been free then you can talk about it!! That's what the city needs love and some free food 😊

We wouldn’t be able to afford to give that much food away for free
yrr
They didn't think they where gonna get Slamed like they did. Rookie mistake. Have ur staff 2-4 hrs before to work out all the bugs. N if u don't sell out in the food u donate it. We'll hopefully they learned there lesson 😂😆😂😆😂😆😂😅
You dont turn customers away. Im sure theres something that can be made

You break the NFL rules not using their system you get kicked out. Why would they risk thousands of dollars worth of business just to make a few pissy customers happy. It wasn’t their fault. Shit happens.

We weren’t the only food truck there. Rather have customers go to one of our friends at another truck than serve something we aren’t proud of
