Steph, the horse may be part of the Avon chess set. My mom sold Avon in the 60’s and 70’s and collected many of the bottles. We had the complete chess set for years. Keep your eye out for the Avon advent calendar it’s felt and sells for big bucks. This was definitely a walk down memory lane for me. I remember going with my Mom when she went door to door to sell Avon.

So funny to see the bottles of my youth! I’m 67 and Avon bottles were huge! I remember getting the Avon catalogs that were so fun to look through and buy some for my grandma! It was a big deal to order from people that sold it! So cute to see them!

Loved the powder dishes . Mom had the " Tiffany " lamp on her night stand for years.

My mother had sold Avon for many years, and I remember most of those pieces, and she had a lot of them, too. The cranberry bowl that Steph said she was keeping is from the Cape Code Collection I have most of the collection but I didn't get all of the pieces because most of them had sold out when I wanted to get them. They are collectible and can be worth money. Hallmarks are collectible too and can be worth money, also!!!

I remember this video from several years back. The Avon stuff brings back memories. The Avon lady would come once a month. My parents rarely spent money on frivolous stuff, so I know my mom really didn't want to buy anything, and kind of dreaded the lady coming. The prices were really high for the 1970s, like $8-10, and the fancier bottles were like $12-15. Mom would get the cheapest bottle or nothing at all. One time, I got some perfume, too. I don't recall the name, but it was just a simple, sweet fragrance. I remember when you got that amethyst bracelet, it was gorgeous!!! I'm guessing this video had to be in 2020 or 2021. EYL!!! 😊😻

Those round plastic containers avon were loose powder containers. My favorite perfume from Avon in the day was sweet honesty and soft musk. My mom used to be an Avon lady My dad used to have a lot of those cars

I wore Sweet Honesty perfume in high school! The “black cape” was a 50’s poodle skirt. When you turned it around you could see the white poodle.

As a young girl, my mom was an avon lady. But it was me and my two older sisters who.walked up and down the roads getting the orders. And we also had to deliver the orders and pick up the money. Mom did this to help supplement the income . They raised 12 kids on dads disability check and side jobs to try to help out. As each kid was old enough to help out, we ptched in with whatever little amount we could.

My dad and his brother used to collect these back in the day. .. 1970s an 80s. At one point, they were worth some money. It’s so fun to see them. I recognize almost all of them.

Im an oldish graphic designer, l once went for a job at the company that made all the dragons and ephemera in the 90s . Never got the job ....... but they drew some amazing stuff. If your daughter doesn't want the club master raybans I'll buy them from you.

Avon had a red glass dish set they made. When I cleaned out my mother in laws estate, she had a full place setting for 12 of the dinner plates, Sakai plates, two different sized bowls, caffe mugs, two different wine glasses, water glasses, serving platters, napkin rings, pitchers, candle holders, I think every piece that went with the set. They were e pensive back in the 70-80’s. She sold it for years as did I.

Wow this reminds me of my best friend in highschool 's mom. She sold Avon in the 1970's and 1980's. She had a shelf made to go all around the top of her master bedroom's wall about 2 foot from the ceiling so the little kids could not touch all the little Avon bottles. I was amazed at how many she had when I was a teenager and now I 'm 66 years young. She had hundreds of bottles. When she passed in 2014 all her children split up her collection.

So much money, in Avon, brought back so many memories, mom still has all dads, he was a collector also, the plastic car shell goes over an Avon bottle

People collect those vintage Avon bottles to this day. They can sell for anywhere from a few dollars to thousands of dollars a piece. It just depends on the bottle. Nice score!

My mother sold Avon in the '70's & '80's. Everything you're showing came out during those ears. Wild Country was a no 1 seller. Mom collected them all. All are collectables. They made a complete set of the red plate you found.withvsaltcand pepper set,cream and sugar and place settings.
