    Bro so I have a question I’m using turtle wax ceramic spray. It’s spray on so I was wondering how much you would charge for a full wash, clay bar, and then ceramic spray on? Would you charge like if it’s a normal wax? It’s for a customer they want a more affordable ceramic.

  • @LoganWilsonVlogs

    @LoganWilsonVlogs

    3 жыл бұрын

    Don’t even use wax or have a price for wax brotha. Just use ceramic sprays or paint sealants and explain to the customer the benefit of ceramic (spray or not) over wax and why you don’t use wax. I charge $100-$150 for a foam wash, wheels/tires, clay bar, iron removal, door jambs, and 6 month sealant (daddy-o). Once i explain why we do what we do customers don’t question. Our basic is $50 for a foam wash, wheels/tires and 3 month spray sealant (wet detailer)

  • @LoganWilsonVlogs

    @LoganWilsonVlogs

    Also prices should be based on your cost per car and what your hourly rate is. We try to stick to $50/hr and each car is $5-$20 on product depending on what we do.

    @@LoganWilsonVlogs man thanks a lot for the help bro. Yeah I mean I usually don’t charge for wax what I meant to say was do I include it like the normal wash. I might just do what your saying makes it easier and just explain the benefits of the ceramic.

    @@InphazeC8 i include minimum a spray sealant (or ceramic spray) no matter the exterior service. Then i upgrade depending on what the client wants! If you put a protection on, next wash is much easier for you to remove dirt/tar/bugs so its not only good for the customer but you too!

    O.k. Anthony. Start by removing all item's inside your car. Then vaccum over and under the whole inside. Then clean your dash and steering wheel. If you have leather interior and seats. Spray a leather cleaner and conditioner on a clean microfiber towel. Wipe down dash and seats front and back. You can spray leather cleaner and conditioner on the seats but watch where you spray. It can go alot of different places. Then go to the out side. Hose down car all over. Use a car soap in a bucket with a washing mit.Start at the top go around the top and windows. Then the sides. Do the tires last. Dry car down. Use a spray wax product. Wiping with a towel as you go along. Top to bottom.Tires, Buy a tire cleaner and rim cleaner spray tire and rim. Doing one tire at a time scrub tire with a scrub brush. Clean rims with a microfiber towel. Spray cleaner on tire and rim again. Let sit for a minutes then hose off. Doing each tires until all 4 tires are clean and rims wiped down. Then go back to first tire and spray with rubber conditioner. Try not to get conditioner on rims. Then look at whole car in and out to see if you need to touch up and where. Your done. Your first detail. Keep trying newer product to get better and faster each time. Start with this routine. For your weekly or monthly maintenance keep up. I have been detailing for two years now. Bought better water hose, vaccum, spray nozzle. Shammy to dry with. Brushes to clean with. Also test products to get faster and better. I love keeping my car clean. Cars or SUV's aren't cheap. So I keep mine clean. Shawn.
