As a child, some of my fondest memories of Christmas, my Mother always had ribbon candy. I'm 75 now.. Thank you for sharing your gift. You have truly made my day watching you.

He has rehearsed bits and i love that. Please keep that up. That's the sort of childhood memory that pops into your random middle aged brain from time to time.
Sure do hope this way of candy making continues forever. Stretching like they do taffy.
This candy makes me think of my grandma..she would sometimes surprise me and my brothers with ribbon and See's candies..I will always think of her when I see these candies ❤️

This brings back so many memories. My grandparents made ribbon candy and "paddlepops" for many years before my parents took over the business. Miss watching my dad throw around the hook.
I could watch this process with just an overhead shot of the marble counter, no voice, just soft music EVERY night. There's something so satisfying about the movement of caramel❤
Finally!!! I remember these ribbon Candie's in our Xmas stockings every year as a child! It's so great to finally see how it's made😀💜 Thank you for bringing the love of making it to the love our family experienced over the years. From the 1960's till now💯✨
I would love to see a watermelon lemonade flavor. Pink and yellow is such a pretty color combo
We used to go to the beach where a candy shop had an old pulling machine making salt water taffy and I would be mesmerised for hours. I also liked the machine that cut it and twisted it into waxed paper. I could watch this all day.

I was adopted by Boomers, so my mom knew which stores still sold this stuff. She would get me the whole box for myself and say it was too sweet for her. I had a very hard childhood, but ribbon candy is one of the sweetest memories. 💜

what an art form this is! from the hook to the candy stretching to the ribbon forming, artists all! Bravo for keeping this true American candy shape alive and well.
Wow !..the amount of work that goes into making this candy!…no machinery whatsoever.
Please upload more of these type of videos
Finally someone teaches. Refreshing and jovial 😊
Your craft is amazing! I truly hope this art isn’t lost ❤ thank you for filming this
I love watching people make candies like this, it’s very mesmerizing and just a true craft. This guy is really good with talking to people and interacting with them. I also bet you have some great muscle mass in your arms and upper body lol.
Ribbon candy brings back so many great childhood memories of Christmas at my Grandmother's house. Love this video.
Beautiful!!!! I can’t think of my childhood without thinking of ribbon candy… so thankful you kept a beautiful tradition alive when we live in a fast paced disposable world. Hand crafted beautiful beautiful candy.
This is a treat to watch a candy making video! Thanks!

One of my fondest memories of Christmas. I'm 61 y/o but watched this fascinating video with a curiosity of 5 y/o. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
It reminds me of the hospital baby blankets. ❤ Safe to say I was drooling the entire video because cotton candy is my favorite flavor!

It's so pretty, brings back memories of my childhood Christmastime, my mother always bought a box for everyone to share . Green, red and white
My late mother loved Ribbon Candy.....our tradition was to always get her a box.
I LOVE ribbon candy!! Reminds me of my childhood. We always had it at Christmas. So pretty and good. And now I know how it’s made! Thanks! ❤️💜💚
Hi Jerry, Logan's Candies. Holding on to a bit of American tradition is so important! I remember ribbon candy well. I live in Key West, ill be ordering from you and your family soon. Thank you Jerry.
Beyond the art of the actual candy-making, Jerry the Candy Man is a wonderful entertainer -- he obviously enjoys what he does and shows that as he tells the crowd and the camera what he's doing. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Wow thanks for sharing. I live about 40 mins away and will check you guys out sometime. I always liked ribbon candy. Great sense of humor!!! Thanks for the video!!!
Nice to see things done by hand..think we forget the amount of hard work put into it
Love ribbon candy, Thank you for all the hard work you do to make these.
Oooh...a warm sample sounds awesome! Looks like a fun job that requires patience and skills 🍭
We used to have these from a street vendor when we were little. This was in Punjab India around 1995-8. Would love to have them again!

It’s yummy especially when it’s really thin. The flavors are traditionally anise, spearmint, cherry, peppermint, wintergreen (like lifesavers), and tutti-fruity (like jelly bellies). 🎉
He’d be so good to knead bread!! That’s such a cool thing. I’ve loved watching candy making since my grandmother taught me the stages of sugar hardening. Great job!
Her folds are so quick and precise. It would take months for me to come close to that level of expertise.
My mom used to get my Easter Bunny from Logan’s. Brings back memories I am 59 now. I don’t live there anymore but was very good
Wow! There is so much love in these ribbons!!
It so satisfying to watch a master do his work. I've the easy freeness Joy in your working just watch for hour.
I remember ribbon candy much thinner. It's still a favorite anytime of the year if you can find it. His shop is in Canada and I looked them up. They don't ship internationally though. I enjoyed watching the making of it.

Yep that's my Grandma, she always had ribbon candy out at Christmas. But this batch is totally me with the pink & blue & cotton candy flavor yum. I want it & I want to go there. I'd love a glass version to just sit on my table and look pretty. Editing: I had to go over to your website it turns out you're not that far from me in California, I'm seeing a day trip in my future. because there are THOUSANDS of channels all showing the same technique and thing... Lofty Pursuits for example. Nothing new here... and the prices are typical CA High... $1.85 for ONE PIECE of ribbon candy!?!?!?!? He made 375 pieces from this batch of corn syrup and sugar... that's $525 a batch on about $20 worth of ingredients... what a business!

I had my first and second grade teacher, Sister Ellenida that would bring these in as treats for us when we finished each chapter in our religion book To this day I can picture everything and everyone in the classroom 61 years ago

Ribbon Candy. My favorite. We called it sleigh candy. Merry Christmas
So very satisfying to watch! Thank y'all for all you do ❤
I was looking for ribbon candy this Christmas and couldn't find any. I always loved it. I didn't realize that the ribbons were done by hand.
In my opinion, this is better than huge factory made candies as it's actually someone's passion to make those candies =) It would make me happier to buy them.
This is quite a work out!! Well done, sir. 👍🏼🙂

Loving this, takes me back to my Grandma's and Aunt's candy dishes.
love this SO very much! After watching a few of your videos, I've realized your voice and voice inflections sound like Ernie from Sesame Street. :) Makes me smile!
I still remember when I was a small child, I used to insist my mother to buy candies and the day I bought a lot of candies was my Eid. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a great craftsman. And it's ribbon candy?? I haven't had ribbon candy in SO LONG, I miss it SO MUCH.

I wish there was smell o vision 😂. Congratulations on being in business 40 years. Your staff seem to show great customer service. Warm welcoming smiles and plenty of conversation as they customers my have questions of what new flavors are in the works. I’m way over here in Youngstown Ohio. California where your shop is and the location looks so inviting with the beautiful sunshine I’ve seen outside that window with your crowd of people watching you guys working hard. I really hope you and your family have plenty more years of success in your business. Your team looks very strong! Please share more videos like this when new flavors are available I really enjoy them. Hope you guys have continuous great years ahead with all this mess going on these days. Good luck 🫶💜

Thank you for sharing the candy making process and the shop activities! I will catch up on the videos to see what candies you sell.
