Never seen a pup so quiet and well-behaved while getting a hair cut.

I'm a groomer for 23 years....I love the idea of Owners wanting to groom their own babies. Kudos to you ...great job! Your dog loves the time with you too!

😭😭😭 I groomed my doodle puppy today and I told my husband to tell people he got sprayed by a skunk or he is recovering from mange to save the embarrassment of a terrible fur cut. 😂

Wow, she seems to be enjoying it, my toy poodle won’t let me get near her eyes or untangle mats, it doesn’t matter how gentle. I have had her since she was a puppy so she wasn’t traumatized. Goodness, good doggy!

Noodles is absolutely adorable. I hadn't even heard of Maltipoos before until I moved into a home where the owner had two of them Leo and Levi. And they both stole my heart like no other dog ever had from day one. And now they both recently passed and I just happen to be looking on line today to inquire about getting two more...and since I never bought Leo and Levi I never realized the cost of these adorable little angels. Those two brought such joy to my life that there have been days where my heart feels torn apart and I have had dogs since I was 7 and now I'm 57. But never had I felt so much love towards these two babies before. And I'm a HUGE dog lover. When I had originally moved in we had 7 dogs and 3 cats and now we only have 2 and 2. And I miss my house full of dogs again! Thank you for letting me express the love I have for these adorable angels. And Noodles certainly does appear to be just that ~ an angel. I couldn't stop smiling through out the entire video. You and Noodles have quite the love thing going on between the two of you!! So very sweet! Thanks again. And I keep praying that somehow someway I will be able to have two more angels running around the house again!

Me too….same breed too…because they don’t grow quite as big as a cavapoo …. I used to trim our King Charles because he hated the groomers, he had bad hips from birth, they can be so rough, we couldn’t even drag him in there, he was terrified! It was a necessity but I was too afraid to use the pet grooming shaver properly. After watching this and getting the correct scissors first I would start from day one. You did an amazing job and Noodle is so adorable ❤️❤️❤️

She's beautiful haircut or not lol 💕 I have an 11 week old Havapoo and was looking for some tips on how to brush through some of the poodle curls lol when I stumbled across your video. So happy I did. I am having trouble with my girl really letting me get into her fur to really brush it well. I manage most times to just get a surface brush done, and I'm afraid matting will take hold soon if I don't get it really brushed properly soon. I don't want to shave her fur down, at least not yet as I want.to see what her fur actually looks like on her when it's grown out for awhile. I do however want to keep her face and butt kept tidy for obvious reasons 😂 I attempted to cut the hair around her eyes a bit, due to some from the bridge of her snout area heading into her eyes 👀 That was so not fun 🙃 I guess I'll be taking her to a groomer 😜 Thanks again for sharing your video.. you and Noodles make a great team!!! 💖🐕‍🦺💖

Awww thank you! Noodles moved a lot too when we first started and I was only able to cut a little bit at a time. Training her to sit still while also training myself how to cut properly was a huge task 😅 Good luck!

I just adopted a Toy poodle mix and I want to do his hair myself until he is more used to his new environment, and possibly permanently if I get good at it and if he likes it as a bonding time. Great job. I’d do this but my dog Kenji is on another level. Hopefully he learns to relax when it’s time for his first cut. He’s still a baby at 15 weeks.

@Noodlesthepooch , I use F5 blades for a smooth look on the bodice, and scissors on the rest of the body.

I love watching Noodles videos…she’s adorable and so well behaved. My maltipoo “Mochi” never sits that still when I groom her. Props 👍🏼

This video is so helpful. Noodles is a champ! I get my Red Miniature Poodle on 12/8, and want to get her used to the sounds and touches of being home groomed. Hi! loved the video! i just got my maltipoo two days ago so this is very helpful for the future, i’m looking into buying brushes but i’ve been having trouble. do you brush her hair everyday with the poodle brush or the detangling one? or both haha

Congratulations on getting a Maltipoo!! So exciting! I brush noodle’s hair every day! Since maltipoos don’t shed, they’re prone to getting knots! I brush every day with the poodle brush and only use the detangling one when I feel a knot.

Perfect video for a beginner. I was really apprehensive about doing this, but with practice I am getting better. Thanks for the tips about holding ears and shaping face...lifesaver. Thrilled to be saving $180 every 3-4 months!

You haven't met my maltipoo, but I'm glad to see I'm doing everything correctly. My dog has always been calm when I use scissors. Razors are her issue, with the guard intact. I think she simply has noise/grooming phobia

Oh yes… noodles had to get used to the sound of the buzzer too. I use an electric toothbrush to brush her teeth so she’s used to that now. With the buzzer, have you been able to find anything that isn’t so loud? Noodles knows that it’s harmless now so she doesn’t mind it at all

Look for a quality breeder! Never buy from anyone who will not allow you to visit the environment first, AND provide health certifications on the parents. And please, Don’t use a back yard hobbyist! This Maltipoo has the curly hair of its poodle parents. But maltipoo scan have straight, wavy or curly hair and come in a variety of colors. But p,ease know that dog ownership is very expensive and this is if you have a fairly healthy dog. Grooming a dog like this costs $40-60 every 4-60 weeks. If the dog has genetic problem like a Luxating patella ( knee cap goes out, a very common problem in this and many breeds, it’s $3000 on average to fix it. One ER visit, and puppies do get into trouble, Can cost a minimum of $600 to the thousands. And remember that the US kills almost 400,000 dogs and close to 600,000 cats EVERY YEAR!!!! Most of these animals were “ bought” by well meaning people. If you really think you can afford a dog, adopt one!

Is she easy to train? I know some dogs are easy and some are hard. I’ll have to do some more research but it looks like I’m adopting one!
