Everyone has the right to defend their homeland. It was mostly the UN’s fault for deciding to make a Jewish state inside another state, which the Palestinians did not approve of this. You do realize that the history of the land dates far back before the 1900s right? It’s funny how media outlets intentionally leave out the history prior to the 1900s. Jew occupied that land upto 4000 years ago before Islam was a thing. A couple thousand years later the Roman Empire occupied the Jew lands and later kicked them out and renamed the land to “Palestine”. It’s all about survival of the fittest. The strong wins. Simple but if you want to use land ownership as an excuse I just gave you reasonings why Palestinians claim to the land isn’t even a thing. In 1948, when the State of Israel was declared by the UN, Arabs who called themselves Arabs remained within its borders. It was only in the late 1960s thr anti Israeli, Arabs countries, decided to call all the Arabs in Israel Palestinians and establish a nation which is actually a brand that will destroy Israel's existence. Palestine is already free, it's become Israel and Jews, Arabs, Christians, Druze, Bedouins, Bahaim live there in freedom of religion and race. Gaza belonged to the Egyptians who didn't want it back in the agreement of camp David 1977. The Arabs in Gaza are Egyptians and refugees from Africa.

Jews were living in jerusalam way before islam even existed. There are hundreds of books dating back to 3000 years that talk about jews in jerusalam. The name Palestine was given by romans before that it was called Judaea and the arabs started migrating there because they think that their prophet ascended from the al aqsa, the exact place where once a jewish temple was and later destroyed by romans, even there’s no mention of jerusalam in quran. There were 700,000 Palestinian people in 1948 and now they are 7 million. If we look at the numbers of jews in islamic countries then they went from 150,000-100,000 in 1948 to 100-50 people in today’s time, some countries there are only 10-15 jews people left there. And I’m not a jew.

After the six day war the Israelis became victorious and therefore had more land than expected. Originally the Jews just wanted the land that that the UN suggested. Historical land as well.

And then when they hit back, they are called terrorists. There's always a double standard with some communities.

Palestine used to be called Israel and inhabited by Jews since 3000 years ago. The Roman Emperor Hadrian changed the name into "Syria -Palaestina" to spite the Jewish Bar-Kokhba rebels. At the time, Palestine was inhabited by ALL JEWS. After the Romans, other invaders came like the Crusaders, then the Muslims, and the Turkish Ottoman empire---the whole time there was always a Jewish presence there. In the 1890s, more Jews started going back which made the land prosper again and also attracted Muslim migrants from around Israel. They were also called Palestinians like the other inhabitants of the land who were Jews. 2 times these Muslim migrants were made to leave to go back to their MUCH BIGGER rest of Middle East land of origin and they refused: the first one was in 1916 when the British defeated the Ottoman empire and repartitioned the Middle East and, in 1947, when the UN gave the Jews a homeland in Israel. The Muslim migrant Palestinians have never given up Jewish land even though the Jews never had any other land like they did. You can blame it on Muslim greed: once a Muslim invades a land, it will claim it as theirs forever no matter how many times they lose it.

Listen, trying to justify Israel's existence by playing the "origin and homeland of the Jewish people" card is not just weak, it's a slap in the face to the millions of Palestinians who were forcibly removed from their homes to make way for it. Yeah, Jews have historical ties to the land, but so do Palestinians. Ignoring their centuries-long presence there just to push a political agenda is not only intellectually dishonest, it's downright despicable. A nation does not require the organs of a state to exist, or to have existed in the past, and plenty of states today do not represent any one nation(like Singapore, for example). This can easily be seen with former European colonies in the new world and Australia. These countries and their identities came into existence through a complex process during the 18th and 19th centuries. Before that, there was no state called the United States of America or a people called Americans. Do they not exist, then? The modern illegitimate state of Israel has zero historical continuity with 2000 year old kingdoms like Judea or the state it shares a name with from, too. The origins of Israel are European Jews with barely any link to some of their distant ancestors who did originate from Palestine buying up property starting in the 19th century, then expelling the actual indigenous inhabitants to create an ethnostate there. The fluff about having millennia old roots is just propaganda which unfortunately convinces some people. This kind of argument basically only works on people who don't give it a second thought. Please try harder, Hasbara!

Israel has had a national identity for the longest recorded history. Palestine is a gathering place of wondering peoples, gathered where the could survive. The Jews were born here and established this land. They were forced out yet never lost their language or identity. Many of the so-called Palestinians were actually Jews, who were FORCED to convert to Islam at another point in history.
