How Warren Buffett Makes And Spends His Billions

Warren Buffett is the third richest person in the world, but he lives a modest life. He drinks five cokes a day and even eats McDonald's for breakfast. The CEO and chairman of Berkshire Hathaway donates billions to charities. He still lives in the house he bought in the 1950s, which is now worth over $652,000.

Great Video. I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.

Considering seeking counsel? Engaging with a financial advisor is worth exploring. While independent management is feasible, financial advisors bring a depth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

The significance of advisors often goes unrecognized until emotions cloud judgment. I remember a couple of summers ago, during a challenging divorce, when I needed significant assistance to sustain my business. Turning to licensed advisors, I discovered someone highly qualified. Despite inflation, she played a crucial role in boosting my reserves from $275k to $850k.

This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!

If that were so, then it would not apply to his first wife, Susie. I don’t think she loved him because he was just simply a workaholic, according to that authorized biography, Snowball. Susie was hoping that once he made his first billion then he would actually spend more time with his kids. But that did not happen that she got frustrated. Buffett says that he regrets not spending enough time with his family.

His philanthropy is great, but what I love about both Buffett and Munger is their straight forward attitudes to life in general. Good, honest and great examples of integrity. Ironically this video giving you the prices of his cars etc is the antithesis of what he’s all about.

I love how he did 2 billion. He could have done 1 billion and they really could have never ran out of money. I mean..they could have, but I doubt it. but it's like if they quit their job and have no savings and spend a single penny, they are already not a billionaire anymore. I feel like he wanted to make sure they were always classified as billionaires. I hope they reinvest it though and make more billions and keep up with the Buffet legacy.

‘’I measure success by how many ppl love me”. I agree somewhat - only wanted my immediate family members (parents, spouse, kids, etc) to show me they all loved me, because on my deathbed only they would be on my mind, and also to hopefully, 17 and 6 years later (I still mourn my deceased parents) still be on their minds every single day. I’ve seen too many funerals where all in attendance seemed so distracted because a certain someone was near or a certain someone may see this (I even attended one where after a short time the deceased was forgotten so that everyone could “audition”). Nope, wouldn’t want that sort of “love’ from anyone.
