How UV Rays Damage Skin

Ғылым және технология

UV radiation is a known cause of skin cancers such as Melanoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Basal Cell Carcinoma.
UVB penetrates the epidermis and causes sunburns while also increasing the risk of skin cancer. In response to UV damage, cells called melanocytes release a pigment called melanin that provides some protection from sunlight.
UVA can also increase skin cancer risk, but is mostly involved in accelerating skin ageing. UVA damages the elasticity of the skin, making it more prone to wrinkling and sagging.

Hello. I have a question about the still unexplored "impact of UV and UVC radiation on the skin or the human body. I have a curious experience that, in contrast to my gene, could have caused a great deal of impact. Made in the 80s. The exposure occurred in 2006. It is possible that hot flushes in the face, still red hypersensitive eyes and redness is a consequence? I had a lamp on the table about 1m from the face for about 25 minutes. my eyesight was narrowed, I wasn't feeling warm, I was red on the next morning and my eyes hurt in the morning after the exposure, they gave me panthenol in the emergency room. I see an increase in blood supply, including eyes, I am still red, I am very red at any activity. accusations, hotness and hot flashes make you annoyed by eating, and your eyes turn red and the whole face gets blood flowing into extreme colors. Is it possible that this is due to UVC burns or is it just a coincidence and is it a hormonal or other matter? So I am a light type, so if there was DNA damage at the cellular level (as reported in available UVC resources), could it be the change? How strong must be the radiation and the exposure time to make this possible? Thank you very much for your answer.

Hi David, thank you for your comment. After reading what you have written, it seems that you are experiencing some troubling symptoms. However I cannot quite understand your question. You have mentioned UV-C in your post. All I can say is that UV-C from the sun does not reach the earth's surface as it is filtered by the atmosphere (please see this link from the World Health Organization: www.who.int/uv/faq/whatisuv/en/index2.html). Since this channel is for educational purposes, I cannot provide medical advice for your specific situation. I would suggest you seek a specialist opinion regarding your symptoms. The first step would be to see a General Practitioner/Family Doctor in your area. He/She may suggest referral to a specialist if required. Hope this helps.

It is eu-melanin which transmutes, transmits, and acts as a semi conductor of UV A, B, and C radiation, but this fact makes pale skin people extremely jealous, and envious, so they; usually, avoid speaking about the subject, or act like people with eu-melanin are supposed to be afraid of the Sun like they are with their weak pheo-Melanin.

Isn’t it obvious lol we are connected to the sun ☀️ have been since the beginning of time, are melanated/Carbon skin helps absorb the UV rays from the sun to protect us from any harm, it cures us from any sickness and activated our dna 🧬 we never needed any sunscreen because we are “Children of the sun ☀️ “ natural to the earth
