How Ukrainian Forces Wipe Out Over 40,000 Russian Troops and 300 Tanks on the Avdiivka Front Line
According to Ukraine's military, Russian forces suffered significant losses during the prolonged assault on the strategic Donetsk city of Avdiivka, with over 47,000 soldiers and 360 tanks reportedly lost.
Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of Ukraine's Tavria grouping of forces responsible for Avdiivka, disclosed that from October 10, 2023, to February 17, 2024, Moscow's forces sustained casualties including 47,186 troops, 364 tanks, and 748 armored fighting vehicles.
