Love this interview. I knew very little about the Spanish Inquisition; and I had no idea there was a link between Islam and Latin America. Kinda makes sense though, with Arabic being in the Spanish language. May Allah reward this sister for spreading this knowledge 🙏🏾

Dear sister, anyone who told you that you couldn't become a Muslim, or, marry a Muslim man of any nationality because you're a boricua is no true Muslim. Welcome to the deen. I, too, am a revert, and I'm fortunate that I've not seen those kinds of attitudes at my masjid.
7 :20 - Subahan Allah if accused of being Muslim were forced to eat pork... oh hala means insha Allah... agreed get their spark due to Islam heritage. Turkish shows like ertigul in Latin... Dawud Kim reverted, yea i Remember. Poetry over haram poetry... I tink we should also teach the hadith there is no sin left except there is a good deed better granted by Allah... I think that's based on a hadith.

You should name the Community who were 800 years in al andalus (Spain and Portugal ) . It was the Moors aka Arabs , Berbers and black Muslims . Mostly from north Africa . I mean you can t Hardly Differ a rican or Cuban from a moroccan

The Spanish not only were they successful in bringing Catholicism ✝️ to Latin America but they also expelled, and threw out the moors out of Spain. In regards, to Turkish soap operas, in Latin America they too will also perish away, just like Mexican soap operas were popular in the Arab world in the 90’s and then vanished as well. Saludos 🖖
