Brighton's buying and selling of players in recent years has been very impressive they also got a tidy payout when Graham Potter went to Chelsea. A lot of hard work and attention to detail certainly does pay off !

Bloom has pulled off some big gambles with his own horses as well, Withhold winning the 2017 Cesarewitch was up there with the biggest of them... Backed at fancy prices all the way down to 5/1 favourite before hacking up from his 24 box.. And more recently at this years Cheltenham festival with Energumene winning the Champion Chase, reportedly winning more than half a million, getting back the losses reported at Ascot of £360,000 that was lost when Shiskin beat him a length... Certainly a very shrewd cookie indeed..

Tony for a short period of time used to regularly post in an online horse racing forum around the turn of the millennium. Could tell then he was a serious numbers guy. Top fella too!

There seems to be a common theme between people who make a living (or riches) through gambling - strategy, discipline, consistency, and finding value. If any of the bits are missing then it isn't going to work. I'm sure I've missed some bits as well, like maybe not getting emotional whether any given bet wins or loses?

Given that he often finds time to talk to fans it probably wouldn't be impossible, although I haven't tried. I'm sure he has far more important things to be doing and... giving hints about how to price/bet effectively probably isn't on the cards given Starlizard's secretive nature. I certainly wouldn't expect it!
