I got into HOI4 because of your videos man, I love your RP vids even if you get salty because you're right. And Marconii caught it with your line of "...they have no feel for roleplaying." In a competitive game I'm sure Dankus and Griecha do wonderfully but your videos of games -without- them are my favorites. The story of the game feels so much more relevant without the salt-stress and makes the video that much more enjoyable. Regardless of what you decide, you've got my sub for as long as you keep making videos man.

When one half of the lobby is playing for RP memes and the other half is playing to "win" with meta army theres gonna be a clash its natural. Got to play with those with similar goals for an RP game.

Tommy actually saying what was on his mind all this time and giving it straight to us was surprising honestly, but I prefer a lot more that "honest Tommy" to him pretending to be "chill" when something obviously annoys him. But anyway great video as always :)

What is sad to me is, even though Tommy wins in the end, he stills just wanted to have fun. All he wants is a RP game where people actually RP instead of going full competitive or broken stats and stuff. And the viewers can't understand how stressful it is to constantly be on the lookout for people to meme you, then play the best you can play, win against people who are just there to meme you after how many hours I dont even know. It's just not fun, even if you encircle dankus a thousand times.

Grisha and dankus are not suited to more relaxed games. they are too competitive, Both good players but their competitive styles don't really suit causal games.

This channel has one of the best editors out there I swear, I watch every video almost simply because of the editing. Obviously Tommy is funny and entertaining but the editing really brings it together

Maybe a break from them isn’t a bad idea. If for no other reason than to give Tommy a break from stressing about them during the game. It seems to me that the hardest thing to balance is role play fun and winning fun. What’s fun for one player is annoying for another and what helps one person win might break role play completely.

I watched the game on Dankus' channel but I'm interested to see it from Tommy's perspective, also Markoni hope you're having a great day!

I think I can fully agree with tommy minute 30/31. It/he does alienate viewers and I do think games without Dankus in particular, but also Grisha can be a lot more fun and less diehard serious bullsh... Personally I look forward to more Bokoen/Dommy games.

Can't blame Tommy when he wants to have an interesting role-play game and it just devolves into "tanks go brrr" when Grisha and Dankus play.

@Parome M8, even roleplay inherently includes winning. Its not like you're roleplaying a government that is trying to lose. But Tommy clarified that he wasn't mad about the trying to win specifically anyway. Rather just the fact that he was being targeted which is understandably frustrating.

I have to say I love your content its funny and witty and ive definately noticed people using meta power play tank builds in roleplaying games where people take minors or majors with different political alignments to have fun but they sometimes ruin it by playing so tall that you cant match them at peak performance I like the role playing aspect with everyone doing different voices and being chill and knowing the rules everyone agreed to in the beginning or through UN council sessions where rules are officially amended. Love these hoi4 multiplayer best channel!!!!

makes sense that it pisses off Tommy when someone uses broken strats in role play as it stops the role play from being fun. Obviously some people like the broken strats and that doesn't make them bad people but if your doing role play in HOI4 makes sure to not go for 20 soviet tank divisions.

@@wsm1227 that's probably because it wasn't Dankus getting upset. The whole point Tommy was making was that what Grisha and Dankus consider "normal and cool" is extremely annoying to him. Hes ranted several times about how doing the same thing over and over again like you don't have a brain peeves him, and that's similar to why Dankus and Grisha are doing. Don't get me wrong, I love watchin those two, but I don't blame Tommy for exploding. He's been bottling that shit up for months now
