@@mauricedegraaf1344 Without the little adventure it would have been 3.01 at the end. He could have lost time without taking a shit that day. But we'll never know. 2018 he was a better climber than 2017. And very consistent as well. So you see him progressing as a GC rider. Just needs that edge and he will win again.

@@raphaeltiziani7476 yeah, the vuelta isn't as popular at all And it's also better than the TdF because it's way more interesting So the course is better It's not as predictable the TdF And on top they deal so much better with the fans at the Giro

MRoo_ RS Most uphill finishes, which is always exciting. But Giro is my 2nd favorite and the Tour easily my least favorite.

Almost won the Vuelta with almost no help from his team. Goes into this Giro with a team that has no power in the mountains This Giro win was so deserved.

Goat level commentary on an unreal race. No unbreakable team trains cooking the lead group up climbs à la skyneos and jumbo, just a pack of lone-wolf gunslingers battling it out, this is why we love this game.

I still most love the story how he almost won the Vuelta de Espana one or two years prior. In spite of having absolutely no GC ambitions at the time. I think that Vuelta is when he realized he could be GC contender. And this Giro confirmed it.

The commentator here losing his vocal cords and I am freaking loving it. That's how you make a highlight commentary. Yes it would feel too much live after wathing the stage for 5 hours but its absolute perfection for the highlights part.

Disapointing that you didn't include Dumoulin slowing the pelaton down after Nairo's overshoot (can't remember the stage number, but Nairo picked up some seconds via the sprint).

10:25: "Pinot goes, he has got the tongue out, licking the invisible ice cream, it is gonna be bigger prize than that, potentially." hahaha I am dead! Amazing Carlton!

Want to use this opportunity to state that Quintana wasn't the one attacking when Dumoulin had his problems he tried slowing the pace

My favourite Giro ever ! Dumoulin was incredible, he race like other climber while he don't have the same physical abilities. Usually, riders who have his physic make the difference in TT and after they control in mountain (like Indurain, Roglic etc). But Dumoulin attacked his rivals during 3 weeks, he's a great champion and since Giro 2017 he's one of my favourite cyclists

That shit in the gras cost him 2.20 something. That's it! Nothing less. Without that shit, even if he would have lost time that day, it would not have been 2.20 something. He is a master descender, which is proven in the time measurements of that same descend, And uphill he wa also pretty good that day. A crazy day in cycling like i've never seen as a Dutchman.

It is true what they say. Dramatically yelling at everything makes things more exciting. 🙄
