Once you fold the top and bottom over and rotate it then cuts to a completely different look where one of the edges is unfolded. If they are folded it's really skinny

Apparently the best way to fold a tortilla requires sleight of hand magic.

Heat the tortilla on either a comal, a dry skillet, or an open flame (I prefer open flame). It's quicker and more convenient than the microwave, and creates a light, tasty char. Do heat it more than how it looks in the video, as it still looks a bit stiff. When doing the open roll, you can literally roll it instead of folding each flap once inwards (it looks to loose). This allows for a bit more filling. First, fold one flap in, then fold the bottom up, then you can grab the stuffed part and roll it snugly. Voila!

Great, this explains it very well!

Had to rewatch this a few times over the years because bread exists.

It is easy enough if you want your tortilla to be a bread with condiments. Being able to contain a larger quantity of ingredients is another challenge altogether. I am choosing tortillas to make it easier to eat healthy, so I am trying to stuff a lot of vegetables in there.

I put mine under the grill, makes them stiffen up a bit and for me they get a bit more flavor.

my Microwave was to hot so my Tortilla became a Taco shell instead

wrapped the open one like before, using one spoon of filling. It always still opens... IDK why I cannot do that....

This actually really helped, I love the closed wraps! Apart from I forgot to put the tortilla in the microwave, so I had a slight crack in it when I started to roll. Does it not go dry by warming it up?

How many inch is the bread? I can only find 8 inch size, which for me is a bit small to put the filling and to wrap it up. :'(

0:46 is where I have trouble. Tucking it in as she rolls it does not work for me. What size tortillas is she using? Shouldn't make any difference should it? They are all round anyway.

Wish there was a way to make an open wrap without having sauce and dressing spill out from the bottom of it. :D

I always just roll mine up and have 2 open ends.... I think it’s because I put A lot into it. They barley fold 😳

Never tried the 1st way and the 2nd way is hopeless for me. They just collapse and everythng starts to fall out. That gets me mad and i end up just throwing it on a plate and eating it with a knife and fork. I hate wraps as I know what will happen. People tell me I put too much filling in but if you don't you end up with too much dry wrap.
