Thank you, you've made warping a warping board understandable and without fear.
Thank you for this video guide! I refer to it every time I go to the warping board. Happy Weaving! :)
What an absolutely pleasant experience that was. I have warped for years but never realized how gentle that action can be. You made my spirit rest with your unhurried and totally informative demonstration. Thank you for being so gentle and easy to follow and see. I will look for more of your videos and anticipate them eagerly. How soothing!!!!! wow.... balm to a bruised spirit.... God is good.

Finally! A video slowly showing how to warp a figure-8! Other videos blow quickly past this vital step. Thank you!

Thank you Barbara! You give a wonderful, clear presentation of how to wind a warp!! I have also been watching your Dressing the loom video. are there anymore teaching videos in this series? Rita
Just so amazing. I was just watching one of Barbara ELkins' other videos - she is one of the best instructional I have seen. Thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful video !
Thank you for the very clear instructions. As a newbie I appreciate the tip about putting the knots towards the end of the warp, hadn't thought about that.
Did my first warp on my board today before looking at your video. Mine is 10 per inch and I have 13. I was going for 14 but did not have enough. This is a test of my skills for warping and weaving. I have a small table loom and it's not very wide and only two frames for simple weaving. I started my warp on the opposing end of cross. My cross was done around just two pegs and you have your end around three. I think mine will work but I just don't have a large opening but plenty for setting up. Anyway, thank you for the video and instruction. Now to take it off my warp board.
This was so so helpful, thank you!!
A new weaver here. Clever idea to 'hide' the knot at he back of the loom.
Thank you, that was a very instructive and useful video 😊
Great video thanks
Muchísimas gracias por su explicación, es perfecta!!!!!
Really helpful
fabulious .thank you madame
We aren't making a bed in the Army. Comical! I loved it.
The most beginner-friendly warping video ever -- thank you Barbara! Will there be a Part 2 on how to get this warp on a loom and ready to weave? Please I hope?

Thank you so much!
Thank you! This video was very informative! Too bad I didn't see it before I purchased my warping board. I have one of those "knuckle-knocker" warping boards with the pegs too close together!🙄
Thanks Diane it is informative.have a wonderful education tomorrow ….Spinning, fiber, 2 or 3 days ?👍
Excellent directions. But, what if I’m warping 3 1/2 yards? I understand whole yards but do I have to round everything to the whole yard?
Can a warping board be glided together instead of scred?
I did not see how you tied off the warp thread when you are done and ready to tie up the warp. Do you tie the end to the sister thread in the 'junk area of the warp?

I end as I began with a loop and an overhand knot. then I catch the loop on the end peg of the warp.

You end the warp as you began, with a loop and an overhand knot. Put the loop on the last peg of the warp and it will be secure. Remember to keep the tension the same as you've had on the whole warp. We hope that helps! Let us know if you need any further help with this!
Are you doing a 12 dent reed? Is that why you're doing 12 count?
The command hooks in the video are cracked - looks like the expensive jumbo ones they’re using are still not big enough. The Jumbo Command clothing hang knobs (no hook) might work instead.
I hang my warping board from over the door wreath hangers stuck on a door. LOL
This video was great, but I discovered too late that this technique is for front to back warping on the loom. Can I use my warp to warp back to front? Can I move the cross?
