I attended SDCC last year, and won the lottery for Funko Booth, by going for the last time slot no one wanted, luckily that method worked. I don't like the method of this lottery or the buzzer lottery in person, in which WonderCon did this past year. It makes the process stressful and nerve racking. But, this portal lottery is the only way SDCC can be "fair" for everyone. It is also not a gurentee that you will win if you enter all of your ballots. And, this does not deterred scappers from buying slots from people who won in line, I've seen it happen.

If I’m not coming to the convention will it be available to preorder for Pulse members?

At some point after the con yes a limited amount will be up but I'm not sure if this lottery thing has anything to do with it or not.

if a person is going to the convention do they need to do what you are descrbiing in this video , or can they just walk up and wait in line at a booth in the convention?

so they will only let people that signed up on the website to wait in line? will they check that somehow? i guess so, but that would mean that no one can wait in line? unless they are moving anyone that signed up to the front of the line? then anyone can line up after them? i don't know

i know i am not going to the convention because i think they say you have to get a ticket in advance and other things, and i can't afford to do that now, so is what you are talking about in this video only for people going into the convention hall? and not for people at home that arent' going , to order toys, or is this just a way to reserve a spot in line at the convention?

It sounds stressful. Everything about sdcc exclusives is stressful.

@@schadenfreudeind Yeah, no doubt. I'm thinking about going one of these upcoming years since I'm not that far from SD. Maybe cosplay, who knows 😆 I think I'd make a cute Zelda or something like that 😂 anyway, it's the exclusives that take the fun out of toy collecting sometimes. Everything else is so much fun.

Yeah this is my first time, taking my son, and it feels like every single step has been pure luck

I’ll be there Friday and Saturday only, I’m just looking for free stuff. In your opinion, what are the coolest things those 2 days that are free 😅😅

I submitted my selections… hope I get something. Please post if you got chosen for anything. Also yeah, this raffle thing has been going on for like 3 years that I know of. When you get there you’ll show them that you have a digital appointment and they’ll let you know if you can get in line now OR if it’s already full they’ll tell you to come back and you can get in.

I think they're trying to stop scalpers.

The problem is, the staff at SDCC would not allow you to wait in line if the line is already too long. Then you have come back every now and then. People loitered for hours, and staff keep telling them to leave. Lots of unpleasantness. So in this sense, I like the lottery better (?).

dont see the point to spending all that money if your not guaranteed to be able to do the events you want

Not like they will have a single one of these for sale ro pick up at show it is a exclusive in name only. Will let certain lucky con attendees to preorder in advance and rest will be on pulse just like mindbender with more production to met demand jus t like mindbender

Hasbro pulse will have limited quantities after the con just gotta be online watching for the preorder, yes it will be a preorder not an actual purchase.

acutally TOURIST .,,, i am , the only way im paying money now is if my bride ( PYTHONA ) shows up . i have 4 snow serpents, 3 serpentors , allyvipers, PYTHON PATROL CRIMSON GUARD tomax and xamot THREE coil, slaughter and thats the end of my collection . serpentor needs his bride and my python patrol twins need to do their jobs

whoever came up with this idea obviously never has been to any convention, nor has he/she any people skills. This is so unfriendly and complicated that it's basically just hilarious.
