Moves:
You must be playing as black and the white player must do these specific moves: White moves their pawn to F3 or F4. You move your pawn to e6. White moves their pawn to g4. You move your queen to H4 for checkmate.

White: doesn't move f pawn _"You weren't supposed to do that"_

  • @erickpoorbaugh6728

If White is moving entirely at random, the odds of this happening (assuming Black opens with the e-pawn and spots the mate) are slightly less than 1 in 101. However, if White's "strategy" is to move a random pawn two squares and then move a random adjacent pawn two squares (and Black doesn't deter this by responding to g4 with e5), the odds are a much more reasonable 1 in 8. It's probably even higher if White is right-handed because the f- and g-pawns will be closer to the White player's dominant hand and thus more likely to be selected. Finally, if White's "strategy" is to move a random pawn two squares and then move a random adjacent pawn one square to protect it, the odds are 1 in 16. So, yeah, if White is a complete beginner with an opening "strategy" of pushing pawns blindly, while Black is experienced enough to open with the e-pawn and then spot the mate in 1, this could happen in a real game.

thing is he literally knows 0 theory, watch his videos where he trades a rook for 1 knight and a queen for 1 bishop and overextends pawns every opportunity he gets without any sense of opening without getting punished because it's 400 elo 5 minute rapid, while also not using the engine to analyze and thus never learning I'd agree that these videos aren't the brightest idea ever though
