This works but ruins the shit out of your guess count. Go for vowels and common letters: adieu, salet, audio are all great examples and Can consistently pull 3/4

I’ve played a similar game and I usually go with the starting word “Cuter” as it usually goes pretty well

People really found a way to make an extremely optimal strat with zero margin for error on a simple word puzzle

Just because you can guess the word, doesn't mean it's possible for the answer to be that word. Out of the 12,000 or so possible guessable words, only about 2,000 or so are possible solutions.

Don’t worry it won’t. So the list of words used are words used in modern literature I believe. I don’t know the exact specifics but I think that there is no way it is something so obscure.

@@EYRVR Here's one simple strategy that can help you get the word in 4 pretty often. Pick any 3 words with 15 different letters, making sure to include the most commonly used letters. Use them every time. Switch to different words, whenever you think of a combination you like better. The following are good combos, but any other 3 words that use 15 different letters will give you a good shot at knowing the word. ALIEN STORM DUCHY IRATE LONGS DUCHY I always prioritize the letters R-S-T-L-N and A-E-I-O-U. I probably should have just said, "Search youtube for advice on how to do wordle". 😄

I use: TRACE SPOIL FUNKY as my starters because they get 15 unique letters and that’s all you need to get it in a low amount of guesses.

I have a really good strategy. 1. Type in any starter 2. Go into the source code and find every answer for the next 5 months 3. Win every time

This doesn’t really help if the answer has more than one of the same letter though.

I've tried it out on the archive and it seems to be working, although there were quite a few words that are far from trivial. generally repeated letters are a problem and the occasional x because those are not detected with the method (e.g. exult, masse, conic, usher)

I had f a l t o, but that could be aloft, float, or flota. That means that I’d have a 1/3 chance of getting it. This also happened the first time I used it, so I’m assuming that it rarely works.

@@wk9647 glent tells you whether t is in last place, waqfs tells you whether f is in 4th position. I think you can always choose correctly from those.

I usually just start with “Ratio” and “Mends”, and if those somehow don’t give me anything I usually put in “Lucky” and it’s pretty easy to solve it from there

If that's how you wanna win then go to inspect element-> application-> local storage ....the answer will be already there.

If anyone is wondering, X is the letter not used

There is a similar method which will almost guarantee to get it in 5 guesses which the 4 words are "tubes, fling, champ and wordy" form there you will have most of the letters and you can almost always guess it next guess

Yeah, I think the Tubes strat is more efficient since it uses less words, and it doesn't check those useless ones.

I use irate, would, and nymph as starting words. Sometimes I don’t need nymph, but I can almost always get it in four or five.

I use Flick,boxes,angry,thump. worked best on todyas quordle because one of the 4 anwsers was angry. Quordle is basically wordle*4

Tease, it's so hard to guess if you use this implied strategy. I mistaken it for asset, seats, and steat.

Some people try to get it in the least amount of guesses though.

SLANT followed by CHORE is clutch, you’ll get it with the 3rd guess every time based on whats left.

My first word for wordle is 'above' or 'about' both have three vowels and surely gonna get at least one yellow and maybe green

i used to do stair and dopey, sometimes i got all the letters (none overlap in the words) but then i would run out of tries when i didnt get enough letters sometimes so i went back to using adieu. it works good though!

And what about words with double letters? 🤨 “There” and “three” both have 2 e’s, how will you guess that?

You can tell which one it is becuase of the e in glEnt But yeah there are anagrams like "siren/rinse/resin/risen"

This works, but it takes all the fun out of playing wordle.

y’all do realize that it’s a wordle archive so he probably already knew what the word was

I use adieu and stomp. Depending on what letters work and don’t, I may use chafe after that. Usually works pretty well.

You could do Ratio, Mends, and lucky so u still have room to guess but you use common letters and all the vowels

i did this and the last 26th letter is the one i needed

The point is getting it in as few guesses as possible

I always start with "anime" and then "yours" to eliminate all vowels

Personally, I start with Crane every time, and with that I’m consistently getting 3’s 4’s and occasionally 5’s

Took me about thirty seconds to determine that if the word was faces or cafes that you wouldn't be guaranteed to win. Surely there are hundreds of others, not to mention double letter issues as others have suggested.

I know it's simpler example that only uses four spaces which is tubes, wordy, champ and fling.

I consistently get three, sometimes two guesses. I start with “roast,” then try to figure out where the vowel(s) is/are (usually in the middle slot, sometimes in the second and/or third), then I go for whichever consonant is easiest to guess (for example, if the second blank is H, I know the first is likely T, C, S). Process of elimination from there :)

I usually use Plumb Reads And think Then I just go from there

My starters are quest, piano, and either train or xylyl depending on what those two produce

That takes out the fun

Those are pretty good words, but I personally use dream, fight, and clown everytime and usually get the word pretty easily from that.

What if you are stuck in the rinse/resin/risen/siren trap? How will you know the answer? There is even the molar/moral trap. This starter is not the best.

Another one that works is (Fjord, gucks, nymph, waltz, and vibex)leaves “q” out

You can also use tubes, fling, champ, and wordy. It will use all of the common letters so you will be able to figure it out in 5 tries

Crane is one of the best starters thoguh

This is a bit tough with double letters at time but still works well.

Try using the word ratio it has three vowels

I usually use other and snail, works pretty well for me

i do orate/blimp as my two starting words then swung if i need an extra guess

I start with words with the most common letters

1. Ratio 2. Mends 3. Lucky This way it gets all of the vowels and common words

I start with salet then poind and go from there, uses very common letters as well as 4/5 vowels in 2 turns

This is why hard mode is the only way it should be

Who else had one of the words as one of the words you typed while following the instructions

I use FLAME BRICK PODGY SHUNT And I pretty much always get it in 5

The fact that mine didn’t the Glent was a word and the other ones except Brick

This strategy still cannot distinguish whether the word is ‘hatch’ or ‘catch’ lol😂😂

A good one to do is also Ratio Mends Unify

After the second one I had all five lettera

I always use fjord gybes quick waltz and nymph it uses 24/26 letters and it almost always gives them all

When you try it but the 26 letter is the last letter you need

It helped! My word was drive

The word was “REGAR” and I typed “AGREE” and lost. 😂
