Hey dude I just gotta say by far the most helpful thing in helping me win has been stopping at critical moments and imagining how you would react in the situation if you were using that moment to teach me, you would sneer and be like "and just look. LOOK. Look at how disgusting this move is here." And you would do something so simple that I would overlook it and it just wins the game. Your smugness and appreciation about the cheekiness of chess has greatly helped my winrate.

Merry Christmas to you as well! The engine analysis after the first game was very instructive as during the game you gave your thoughts and reasons so when it came time to check against the engine I was able to follow. Really amazing how much weight in the first game two pawn moves carried: -2 losing pawn move early and then later another single pawn move would have allowed equalizing! Delightful and instructive game. Thank you. 🎄🎁

This is the best series. I've already commented this on the first one, but it needs to be said: Strong players playing blitz vs 1000s is pointless, it's just a clown fiesta. This clearly shows that 1300, 1200 don't blunder every second move and we can actually learn to build plans and strategies. Absolutely amazing teaching, it's great to hear your thought process! Keep them coming!

I kind of agree with OP here. It would take Levy way less time to export the PGNs and post them in the description than for users to have to go searching for these games in another platform. Even if that's easy enough to do, it could get confusing if Levy's played the player a couple times or like if we don't know the dates they played or which game was the one posted here or stuff like that. Just so much easier to provide PGNs of games IMHO. Takes seconds to export, post, and import.

"If someone watching on KZread made it to the 75th minute..." - Levy at 1:14:13, which, if we think of 0:00 to 1:00 is the first minute, then it would be exactly at the 75th minute of the video. Levy working on his prediction skills to get that GM norm, I see.

I am learning so much from this. Thank you for making Chess videos because I don't know what I'm doing half the time I just know that I have to keep a defense while playing offense. And capture the king.

What would be very instructive would be if you played the "balanced game" on chess with people lower than you so you just start less material. That way you can show how to win when behind and how to cover the loss of the material and also teach your opponent how to take advantage of a material lead and convert a winning position.

It's weird. I thought that it was stupid that there was a Leningrad variation of the Dutch, but I've never thought twice about a Berlin variation of the Spanish.

He’s confident his opponent knows he’s being watched on stream and they won’t be using an engine on levy that’s why he’s not scared. The amount of cheaters at that rating pool is really really bad. But live stream reveals everything
