The only deck I have been able to win with is Cerebro 5 with Nimrod. It is similar power to pre-nerf Sera Surfer. Otherwise, there are too many decks that overpower Nimrod in the meta. Of course, I don't have Galactus, so can't say anything about that deck.

I played into HowlingMines today and lost to the nimrod on 6 in altar of death 😂, gonna try these out!

i had the same deck made for the the first galactus build, but had nova instead of psylocke as i wasn't really finding a need for psylocke whereas the nova would proc on the galactus play. thoughts on this change? is there something im missing like psylocke into X on turn Y as a backup?

Any reason for Deathlock over Venom? Better tempo play as a non combo piece compared to a naked Venom?

Galactus gets hosed by locations alot too besides being predictable >< :( I'm wondering if Nimrod with Destroyer is better or if Death/Knull classic Galactus is better. I'm also wondering about scarlet witch to change a lane that's hosing you.

I've climbed like crazy with nimrod, had a rough patch when i tried Galactus today (just bought it) but i'm back at 85 looking like infinite is doable at least at my collection level

Basically, it's valuable to have your opponents not know what you're going to do.

One of the biggest reasons to get Nimrod imo is that he is so painfully bad hes almost garanteed to get buffed. They shoud probably make him a 4 4 or smth

Nimrod is a fine power level. It’s not that he’s bad, it’s that Shuri, Aero, Thanos, and especially Leech are so unbelievably fucked that you can basically never play Nimrod effectively. It also doesn’t help that Galactus destroys the decks that get on the board early, keeping them out of the format, which are the decks that traditionally have the best matchups into leech, so leech just gets to run wild.

@@DuckDoolittle Yes but he just doesnt put anywhere near enough power without shuri. At most you put 40 power with shuri zola but thats comiting your extremly predictable extremly disruptable play and nullifying youre turn 5 play. The biggest and only advatage he has is he can sneak into flooded location... thats it otherwise every deck in the game withh always be able to dump more power than he can
