Given what happens when Gro-goroth actually decides to fight you, I imagine that this was all just Gro-Goroth doing his morning calisthenics after waking up. You weren't fighting him, you only imagined you were fighting him. You had no more chance of defeating him than a flea does of defeating a lion. All you could do was annoy him, and when the flea annoys the lion, the lion decides it is time to scratch.

Easily the best fight in the game. Even with poison cheese strat, you can still fuck up due to how hard he hits

I will be honest, Gro-Goroth fells like an actuall Boss Battle in contrast to other bosses who are easily defeated once you know-how

Idk if this is true but i think that, if you get the Endless soul via an empty scroll to bypass agreeing with Nilvan's wish to bring the girl down to the depths, you can proceed as normal and cut all the organs. Once you do that, i think you should be good with bringing the girl all the way down w/o her transforming into a god. Idk if this is true id have to test it myself

funny how nasrah gets blasted without a fight but the main character can die after poisoning the traces and guarding/healing for 5 turns

Alternatively, if you got this far with a party and you have strong weapons, you can group up and hit him till he dies.

Word of warning about this guy: if some of the eyes are destroyed, the game might softlock in the animation to close some eyes and open others, because it might try to play that animation on eyes that are already destroyed, and it won't work. If you're going to destroy the eyes at all, try to get ALL of them in the hopes the bug doesn't softlock you first.
