Also I found an interesting exploit for Doll by accident. During my playthrough I gave Girl Thorned Ring as a "meh, at least better than nothing" accessory. Some time after that, I picked up the Peculiar Doll and chose option to give it to the Girl. It removed the ring and put it back in my inventory. Girl had doll equipped instead. So it only works with her but I suppose 1 free removal of poison/bleed/infection (especially infection) is decent to have when one is strained for resources.

This reminds me the run where I got to teach girl to use Combust, Healing Whispers and Fast Attack!

Termina tier list: S tier: - Leechmonger ring: the ring that enables all OP strats and turns you into an unkillable monster - Betels stone: hot take, but because spells in termina are way more overpowered and some enemies being able to damage mind, having an abundance of mind is great - Salmonsnake rune: nothing much needs to be said A tier: - chac chac: turns any magic user into a ohko machine with death mask. - arm guards: step down from SR but really the only important thing from it is the arm loss prevention - pinecone pig: its nerfed, so ill down it a peg. Tho you can theoretically grind items on those passive moonscorched - small things amulet: your early source of agility before getting marinas engrave and funger affinity - ring of wraiths: health regens always great - yggaetsu charm: you dont really need it but having a win-more OP amulet is great all in all Artificial soul: turns your mages into spell spamming turrets B tier: - Hardened heart: on its own, its pretty passable. But its one of those items that enable op strats and shit. - ballistic shield: people like putting this in low tier but i disagree. If you find it, you can replace your SR on fights that dont dismember limbs to improve your survivability. i.e bobbies, moonless, neigbours and ratkin gang. - cameo/butterfly necklace: again, another one of these items that are passable on their own but op strat enablers Eye of silvian: mainly i use this outside of battle to patch up. Its great because it allows you to stretch your resources further. C tier - bremen gas mask: situational against poisoners and enemies that can blind. - ring of still blood/thorned ring: situationally good but i put them up because they are freebies - molded doll: its pretty meh ngl. But hey, if you need to minmax magic damage and cant find more than 1 shac shac, go ahead - joy mask: mid And the rest goes to D rank. They are mostly early game shit or items you need extremely situationally. No F rank because any item is good in the game before you replace them with something better.

Something I'd like to point out about the ring of still-blood is that it can be used in conjunction with the Penance Armor. Being one of the best armors in the game, it comes with the trade-offs of leaving your character unable to dodge, and permanently bled. Using the ring of still-blood or the salmondrake soul will allow your character to circumvent the bleeding; but I think the ring of still-blood is going to be the de facto winner as you'll never not want it to be on anyway, if you're using it with the Penance Armor.

The old guardian soul I would actually argue is F-tier. The old guardian soul seems good on paper for newer players starting out. It gives you a get-out-of-death-free card once, which can prolong bad runs for experimentations or save you in really bad situations where you may be unprepared. With that said, the big issue is how genuinely endgame it is. An item like that loses its value since most players will have a basic idea of how to play or do things by that time. To make matters worse, it uses a soul stone which may be a somewhat finite resource for some people, especially new players. Losing a soul stone like that could genuinely make the difference between a non-cursed and cursed blue sin. TLDR: you have better options and it could be a waste of a valuable resource unlike many lower tier items.

f tier is reserved for things that are as bad or worse than an empty accessory slot. the old guardian soul is really bad, but it at least has an effect, so it stays out of f tier. you're right that it's not worth the time or effort, which is why i've literally never used it

You can actually obtain multiple salmonsnake souls by playing in non-english versions of the game and using an empty scroll. You can also drag your save files (including global file) from English version into non-english one, obtain the soul, save, drag your save files back into the English version and continue playing. In Russian spell for obtaining it is О ГОСПОДЬ ДАРУЙ ДУШУ ДРАКОНА

White angel is the best, it’s super worth it to restart the game until you get an empty scroll just so you can get it

Doesn't having 20 agility in this and Termina guarantee your Menu Run if you're solo? That makes White Angel even better

bone shears are only that good for skeletons. the katana's high crit rate makes the user's stats matter a lot more, so it's usually not worth giving the katana to skeletons. almost every weapon works the same but has a different attack value, so the order is cursed blue sin == purified katana > sort by attack stat > war scythe

11:16 Old guardian soul is actually kinda of useful against very strong enemies such as trace of gro-goroth afaik u will not die on that battle and its only 1 time use

actually the doll has hidden effect where if you have girl's acessory slot locked by previous accessory you can give her the doll to unlock it

old guardian soul is like minecraft totem of undying, it saves you only from minor things that wouldnt even be any danger if prepared correctly, in minecraft you need to burn through them like crazy to take any real advantage from them

Listen, I skipped to the end before actually watching the video SPECIFICALLY to see if Pinecone Pig was where it deserved to be. I'm glad Jones does not disappoint

waste of an accessory slot and weapon slot. war scythe has 100% accuracy but a 70% skill failure rate. boosting its accuracy to 180% doesn't change that it's going to fail to damage a target 70% of the time

@@all-bonesjones Ugh... Of course it's not just a straight forward accuracy on it... Lol Can't there be ANYTHING in this game that just makes sense? I still think war scythe is good against traces of gor goroth (bur pretty much nothing else) to keep the multiple eyes in check, but I won't bother trying to buff it with the glasses if it's not coded to help.

What about if you paired the cursed blood ring with the penance armor? Would that jump the ring up a tier or 2?

if youre using the penace armor in a serious run no, because it cant be swapped out, the only blood loss you will get will be from walking around while using the armor, just use salmonsnake every once and a while to patch up your wounds

Against grogoroth old guardian soul is a must, my enki survived 4 deaty attaks, which would kill him even if he had 130 defense. It’s an s tier shit

almost every weapon works the same but has a different attack value, so the order is cursed blue sin == purified katana > sort by attack stat > war scythe

​@@all-bonesjones Yes, sometimes it seems to me that it was possible to make the balance of weapons better. For example, a combat scythe would be very useful in a battle with flying dwarfs. But she can't really hit. I think the best weapon in the beginning of the game that you can get is a cursed mace.

20% difference in damage is often the difference between taking two turns to kill something and one turn to kill something. killing something in 1 hit before it can harm you is massively better than killing something in 2 hits and letting it attack once.

There's a crow mauler human hydra??? Please tell me that's not real. It's a mod, right? There's no crow hydra in the game... is there? Crow Hydra's not real Crow Hydra can't hurt me **rocks back and forth**

Cavemother soul use: boost cahara initial dmg to be in range of wooden doors if you didnt pick lockpick or boost girl dmg from zero to not zero (before dagger or seletal arm) to fish headshots

both of these are wrong. the girl WILL deal damage with the soul, but it's not enough to kill a head.
