Great whistling tutorial. This is the best one I've found so far ANYWHERE on the internet. I'm about halfway there, I just can't get the volume down yet. I wish I had a REAL friend to help practice with in real life. A friend who would maybe know what I'm doing wrong and could help get me there. But I don't.

I know how you feel! Remember, the fun is figuring it out through trial and error! Even if you did have someone right there with you, it doesn't mean that they could help you because everyone's mouth is a little different and experience the sensations a little bit differently. I've watched a lot of tutorials and some of them are hit and miss. Just keep practicing and you WILL get it!

Matt, you are a fantastic teacher! I have learned so much from your videos! I started learning how to do the wolf whistle over a year ago and when I started I could barely make a tiny sound. Now, after a year consistent practice, my wolf whistle is absolutely deafening! Seriously, I can't practice it at home anymore because I live in a town home and my neighbors on both sides would probably call the police, lol. Instead, I now practice in my car (which is ear-splitting!) or on a scenic walking trail, surrounded by luxurious homes. When I whistle, it echoes and I can hear dogs barking throughout the neighborhood! You have so many great tips that helped me! Especially the one where you talked about rolling your tongue like a Spanish R- that was huge for me! I've shared your videos with a lot of people! Thanks so much for these videos, you are the best!

I'm so close! I have done all of your exercises, and i can get just a faint whistle, very low volume. I know I'm close, not sure what to do next. Any tips?

I've got the technique down but it's not very loud. (85-90 decibels when compared to my whistle with fingers of 110 plus decibels)

@@Dibs_1 Yeah, i just need to get it to a point where it's almost as loud as my finger whistle, it's much more convenient. Problem is the noise i can make with the fingerless whistle is subpar when compared to my finger whistle.
