I watch a lot of videos for education and pleasure and as repair videos go, this should get an award. Very professionally done in step by step order with a list of required tools at the beginning. This video turned a relatively complex component replacement into an easy task. I never could have properly completed this task without this video

The engineers for Whirlpool/KitchenAid purposefully made this SO hard. Can't even remove a drawer for cleaning without spending an hour mangling the 2 'tabs. BTW - my $4k Kitchenaid for 5 years still doesn't make ice.

Great video on replacement. I ordered full slide assembly. My Door Brackets on original with screws 23 inch on center were different than replacement with screws 24 inch on center BUT the old was interchangeable the new. Hint - Do not discard any old parts until finished as you may need old but useable features.

Thank you for this great video. Do you recommend replacing both glides at the same time? I replaced my right hand side and the door seems to be tilted to the left. I don’t know if it’s because my left glide is the original ? Thank you in advance!

You are welcome. If the drawer is tilted to the left then we would recommend replacing that glide as well and see if that would help fix the issue you have.

Thank you for your video, I replaced the slide no problem. Although, I noticed on the right side where the gear goes, in the rear, the teeth rack on the frame of the fridge has three teeth knocked out. Is there a kit for repair for this? Because what happens is: if you pull freezer door on the left of the handle. It cocks out first. because the gears don't pull the left side. If I pull from the center its not bad. Is there A kit to repair the teeth rack built onto the fridge? thank you.

The freezer drawer will not come out. Something is causing the left hand rail to stop before being fully extended. I cannot remove the upper or lower baskets and have no access to any screws. How does one deal with a malfunctioning slide rail?

Hey, I have the same problem, I can only open my drawer to 11inches. I can't remove any of the metal baskets. Did you find a solution?

What if the drawer won't open at all? It is not frozen. It has been unplugged for over 50 hours.

Same here. Unplugged it to defrost and clean it up a bit. Took out the bottom tray and that was it. Cleaned the freezer then reinserted the tray. Now it all of a sudden won’t upon all the way. nobody on these how to videos will answer me. Lol some of these videos are over 3 years old. 😕

My right side rail came off it's slider and I can't get it back in 😥
