good to see a company go a little out of the way to help someone. I know you have a big audience that helped the situation but it still says something about them.

My mother taught me very well how to cook when I was just a young lad; skills I still use to this day some 50 odd years later. Actually I do enjoy cooking equally along with fishing, welding, gardening, mechanicing, carpentry, and all the other so called manly skills. Nothing wrong with being a good well rounded individual in life skills regardless of gender.
Cody, Matt and Meredith at Bunker Branding just released a statement about your interaction with Bunker Branding and they really believe there was a misunderstanding over the hats. It would be good to see you two work together. Many prayers to you and your family.

Have y’all bought anything from Bunker Branding? I’ve made several purchases. Never had an issue. Of course they want to make things right, their business is supporting KZreadrs and other influencers. But if you’ve actually watched any of Matt’s content, and believe that he and Mere would try to scam anybody, you must be watching different videos than I watch.

Besides, it was just a misunderstanding and even King David flew off the handle sometimes. And he wrote Psalms and gathered the materials for the Beit HaMikdash. Its very mature of you to appologise and recognise that there was probably a misunderstanding. Good on both of you all

I was introduced to the concept of plastic welding about 25 years ago when I worked at an electroplating shop. I watched a guy put together some tanks out of polypropylene. Basically the same as what you did, except the tip on the welder was also used the smash the rod into the workpiece. It was actually really fast. I think the material makes a difference, though.
Hey Cody. Tell Jack to add a little cinnamon to the crepes he puts nutella in. Makes them taste even better, been making crepes for almost 40 years. Even doing it camping.
Good to hear that someone who knew about plastic welding got through. The process hopefully will gain some more notoriety due to this. I've saved a few pricey items through use of plastic welding. I've not used that particular device, but I've done the same process using a dial temp heat gun and hand feeding of plastic rod(kinda like tig welding). Nice to see that it worked. I recommended spin welding because I've thought that bead welding for plastic to be unfit for pressure applications. Since QTAC recommended bead welding I'm going to have to do some more research into the differences between the weld types again.

QTAC as a professional firefighter I have to say it’s so refreshing to see a company willing to fully support their equipment! Keep up the good work!
Hats off to you QTAC you guys are awesome!
It is so nice to find a company that will help out their customers . I have most recently had that experience with Scorpion riding gear . I broke the release on my modular helmet about three months after buying it . I contacted them to see if I could buy the part from them , no . They sent me a whole new chin bar assembly . Then I did it agin about 3 years later and repeated trying to buy the part , they sent me another new chin bar assembly . No charge . As a former firefighter I love your QTAC fire unit . Quick attack while fire is small is key to beating a fire .
It is refreshing to hear about a company that really values taking care of their customers!
Happy you wanted to fix it and even more impressed they have a kit to repair a broken tank. Easy fix and great service!

Great customer service is rare and much appreciated when a company goes above and beyond to make a customer happy. Not to mention the life-long free advertising they get from doing a happy customer. At least I know I spread the word of companies I deal with that treat me fair.
Companies like that a rare and few it should be seriously appreciated for sending the proper equipment for doing repairs like that and it means they stand behind their equipment totally and will help you when it requires to get things repaired
Thank you QTac. You helped a good man keep his family and property safe.

Don’t quit your day job Cody! 🙂 When your using alcohol to wipe away contamination BUFF IT DRY! Don’t let it evaporate because the oil/contamination that is in now in solution with the alcohol will settle back on the surface.

It’s really great to see how you support jack with what he does even though it’s not necessarily what you like
One thing I think is worth mentioning is that I love how Cody is willing to learn new things where many other creators put up the facade that they know everything. Really puts the viewer in his shoes as most of us probably don't have any experience with plastic welding among other things. (I'll take the title as sarcasm)
We had a poly tank leaking on one of our engines once. This crazy looking haggard looking guy showed up an in like 2 minutes he was leaving. I watched the whole time because I’ve never seen plastic welding before. But he did it for a living. Good job Cody!

As long as Mrs. W or Jack don't start firing up the stove with Loctite all is fine. Glad to see the tank fixed. Would have been a shame to throw this away. Unfortunately, it's rare these days for people to fix something.

Cody, thanks for letting us know how good those KNIPEX cutters are. it was very handy when i had to rebuild the carpet cleaner. it got all clogged up and some hoses cracked and had to trim those. ended up unable to close it back together but i just used the cutters and cut away the plastic walls inside it and it worked. saved me 400 dollars to replace it, works again.

Thanks for the "Not a Tutorial". I've been wondering how this was done! While traveling we borrowed a kayak a while back that had a crack in it and it got us talking about plastic welding. Apparently some guys will repair them with nothing more than a heat gun and a piece of 5 gallon bucket. Thanks QTAC!!
