Do you often draw a blank when it comes to doing nail art… Oh my God, Yes!
For me it happened so often, and I’m also not really very naturally creative. But one thing that I always enjoyed resorting to in the salon with clients was stickers! Like oh my God, why do I ever need to hand paint anything when it is already perfectly painted for me on a decal!
Well, I’ll tell you what… I haven’t changed much… I still resort to stickers, and on the regular.If you’re a nail tech and you’re pressed for time you probably are like me… quick simple and cute please!
In today’s video we’ll be talking about 2 types of decals or stickers that are my favorite to use on gel nails.
They are:

An even easier way to apply water decals is to apply them with a stamper! 😃 just cut out the image as you normally would, place it upside down on the stamper head, dab a little water on the image with a brush (you don't need much at all), wait 10-20 seconds for it to soak up the water and slide the paper off of the image, and then all you have to do is stamp the image on to the nail! Super easy! 😀

I’ve tried both, but this technique will make using them so much easier!!!

Hi, any chance you are able to advise on how to apply these on regular nail polish and how to make them last? (non-gel or curing type)

Paint you base polish dry, color polish, dry completely. Place your sticker in same manor she explained and add a couple layers of top coat ( let dry in between coats.)

I definitely have some stickers I can use. They're mostly flowers which is perfect for the season 😊. Thanks for the base gel tip. I've struggled with bulk way too often.

On a natural nail, after a few coats of reg polish, hang onto your fingers until you soak (20 mins warm water, or a nice bath,) and you can easily peel them off - NEVER NEEDING TO BUFF NAILS AT ALL.
Thanks Paola. I almost didn't click the video in the newsletter bc I thought "I already know this," but I am glad I did, because as always you taught me something knew. I had previously soaked water slides in a dappen dish of water, dabbed in on paper & it was a pain in the butt, and many a slide curled over on itself. Your method looks way easier. I am going to revisit them, as I have been strictly buying self adhesive ones. PS where is the Amazon link you mentioned, I don't see it in the description
